So when oil was $147 dollars per barrel petrol was around £1.36,
oil is now around $80 dollars per barrel,who's doing the profiteering?

I had mine converted to lpg a couple of years ago and I've had 4.54609 litres per gallon ever since. Best £3K I've ever spent. Plain

A dilemma for the government!

They have postponed the last two fuel escalator price rises due to the all time high cost of fuel in the last couple of years.
But now it has fallen 20p or so in the last 6 months.

They should put fuel up immediately for the good of the nation.

But then there's an election in 6 months????

OK, so if we win, we put it up at the first opportunity.
If we lose, labour will put it up, and we can crap on about hurting business, not fair on hard working people etc.

One of the wife's friends hasn't worried about petrol prices for at least the last 10 years.
She always puts £5 worth in come what may.
