A guy in the pub sold his grand fathers medals from WW1 to get money for a bet on the football.

Glad to say that I still have my Grand Father`s medals from the same conflict. Never recovered from Mustard Gas attack at the Somme and sadly died in Erskine Military Hospital.

It's a disgrace, how long will we have to put up with all our parks being no go areas. There not even safe in daylight hours anymore! Hope the police pull there finger out soon!! These tale of terror are making front page nearly every day now. Amazed that the Keighley News has not picked up on the Story that was on face book on Friday night regarding the lady walking through !! LUND PARK !! with her two Young children and her baby in its pram. She had to ask a group of Asians to stop shining Laser pens at them, she received the usual verbal from these racist idiots and the baby sustained an eye injury after one of them through an object that hit the baby. It's a shame this had to go viral on face book for the police to do something about it.. I want to ask when are the red top papers and the pc brigade going to call this filth what they are? Muslim. Not Asian. Sikhs Chinese Korean Nepalese most Indians etc are not doing this and by saying is Asian is putting them at risk from vigilantism. well said mark, they are the dregs of the indian sub continent, none of afore mentioned can stand them. Maybe if we all sneak into the mosque by Asda and steal all their shoes, maybe, just maybe the police will get their fingers out? Seriously though, if it was an elderly Asian man who was attacked, then just watch the commotion that would ensue. just like the grooming and drug dealing they supress it, it's been going on for years. just one muslim has posted There is nothing Muslim or Islamic about these scums behaviour. I'm a Muslim, I paid my respects at the memorial on Sunday and fully appreciate the sacrifices of the British soldiers and those of Muslim Indians and Pakistanis that fought and died in the two world wars. My family wear the poppies with pride each year. Why should I and my faith be held responsible for these idiots??!! |

slightly off topic, but the mother of the Derby suicide bomber knew her son had been radicalised 5 years ago, according to a family member. The local community leaders have today blamed Derbyshire police, and the government, for allowing him to slip under the radar.
By:
The mother and local community leaders should sue the government and the Derbyshire police for their institutional, "not protecting someone, for not realising someone had been radicalised, by not a community leader".
Im sure Cherie Blair would take the case. |
By:
That is a rubbish claim...how do you know he was radicalised to start with?
Before are responsible for their ow beliefs...nobody else This was a despicable act, I do not believe normal Muslims would do this I hope they catch the culprit |

People are responsible for their own beliefs...nobody else

It is possible that these attacks on vets have been coordinated yes
I think the Michael Adebolajo attack was supposed to be a coordinated campaign but public reaction was so strong they gave up on that one They now go for physical attacks on old men and women but if I was them, I would give up on that one as well, this will win these people no sympathy |
By:
I think the Michael Adebolajo attack was supposed to be a coordinated campaign
but public reaction was so strong they gave up on that one We appear to have a different understanding of the word 'co-ordinated'. I thought it meant 'at the same time', so there would have been no time gap there for the public to react. |
By:
Apologises
taxiI think it was meant to be the start of a planned campaign |
By:
If they were worried about public outcry why didn't they stop after
the twin towers? the London tube and bus bombings? |
By:
Same old. Never ever gets done, I wonder where Lawerence's mother is?
By:
A bit unnecessary imo sj.
Obviously the scum responsible for this and other attacks deserve a lentghy stay at HM's pleasure. |
By:
will they be charger with a racially aggravated attack?
or just robbery |
By:
Lawrence's mother sees racism as one way.
As do the PC Establishment. Thanks goes to UTC for bringing this to case our attention. |

Are ukip standing in keighley ?, a shoe in if there's enough whites in the area

I think that ,unless the Liars who run the country ,start to deal with immigration and the one sided view of the PC brigade,
Then there will be a time when the ordinary quiet men/women on the streets will say, enough is enough.. This country is like a pressure cooker waiting to explode, and the only way to curb it, is by somebody in power making changes that have not been seen since the Second World War, ...although the gullible pc brigade and the champagne socialists will have us believe that we're all being racists and little Englanders |

If they were worried about public outcry why didn't they stop after the twin towers? the London tube and bus bombings? funnily enough 7/7 never angered us so much also those two attacks were seen by Muslims as justifying a cause |
By:
totally agree dambuster with your thoughts, something is going to happen sometime and I can see there being mass riots.
By:
Some of the things we are doing
I also wonder whether was are creating an unsustainable society I think our society is becoming ever more vindictive and vicious We have lost common sense, reasonableness...biggest change from the 60/70s |
By:
Didnt you have mods and rockers going mental on brighton beach and football hooligans chucking bricks through old ladies windows(in Luton) in the 60s 70s and 80s. And race riots and didnt people always say that the country is going to the dogs. Captain mainwaring was saying as much the other day.
By:
In fact Notting Hill riots wasnt that in the fifties, started by teddy boys going out beating up pakistanis.
By:
I liked it
![]() at least they expressed themselves naturally we are not now, it is building up underneath because we repress everything...I think we are a pressure cooker |
By:
Looking at the daily anti Muslim comments on here
were the Teddy Boys wrong???????????????????????? |
By:
Yeah, I am not sure you are right, but each to their own. What about all the cover ups of nonces in care homes, posh schools, scout groups and anywhere within a ten mile radius of Jimmy Saville. All seemingly brushed under the carpet too.
By:
All this stuff over immigration
I think the Teddy Boys approved of immigration ![]() perhaps we should have listened Is there a cover up? The after timing over Jimmy Saville is appalling, nobody knew in fact we still don't for sure? |
By:
did not approve of immigration
By:
Children institutions have a tendency to attract paedophiles I am afraid, I do not think they have covered it up
This is one area I believe it..I think we got an RAF officer today Greedy woman after money I do sometimes have my doubts I admit |
By:
I will probably believe the charges against GG, started today...on the grounds he has been done since in Vietnam
and for the porn downloading ok, there was masses of it |

Another Wat Tyler is needed....
I wonder how many heads that will fly above.. |
By:
Wat Tyler, the Peasants Revolt 1381
He led an uprising from the South East in protest at a Poll tax(we needed him a few years ago) After reaching London at the head of a very large mob, a young Henry II, just 14, bravely rode out to meet him, promised Wat Tyler he would rescind the tax. There was an incident, Wat Tyler was killed, his supporters dispersed, and the concessions were cancelled. |
By:
is that the one???????
By:
Nah, that's him of course but not what i was hinting at..
By:
Well it won't be the rich that revolt, that's for sure.

Why didn't they stop after the outcry of 9/11 and 7/7 is what I asked you. You haven't answered. |
