Andrew Marr is brilliant. A clever, articulate man who is very good at his job. The BBC are lucky to have him.

I think he can do his job as well as he has ever done. Possibly better because his recent difficulties have, of course, increased his experience and understanding of bias against the infirm.
I would have thought that the back-to-work schemes would even register his condition as a problem for ANY job.

His mind is still sharp and he allows the interviewee to answer the question. A refreshing change from the shrill Newsnight woman who likes the sound of her own voice and doesn't let anyone get a word in edge-ways.

Correct.  The only real difference is his speech but it's perfectly fine.

Be good to see him interview Morrissey.

He can no longer open a broadsheet....surely a pre-requisite of the job

Obviously sentiment has some impact but the reality is that he is past is sell by date. Disability needs equality but that also incurs being replaced in the name of progress instead of soldiering on forever.
