Largest Turtle
This enormous turtle that lives in the Amazon has been captured by the Japanese, said to be the oldest and the biggest turtle in the world. This gigantic turtle is almost 530 years old and weighs 362,87 kg (800 pounds). As you’ve seen the photo, it looks like its bigger than the police car and was carried by a big truck. The police have warned the people not get too close to this giant beast because its very dangerous and risky not knowing what this giant turtle can do to you. Probably it will smash you like a pumpkin!

Assuming it is real, I would have thought the tethers would be useless!

The image of what seems to be a giant tortoise on a flatbed truck is in fact a still photo taken from the 2006 Japanese film “Gamera the Brave” in 2006. The photo, along with an article describing an 800-pound tortoise found in the Amazon River appears in at least two news outlets, and has more than 175,000 likes on Facebook.

Knew it was fake when I saw the photo. The road sign at the front clearly and expressly forbids the transporting of large turtles on flat-bed trailers.
Japanese newspaper report that Turtle has now escaped and heading in the direction of Tokyo
