That's bonfire night done, bring on the Christmas adverts

bonfire night is still well under way here 

Ours is scheduled for this weekend....then roll on Xmas - the sooner the better out of the way....then onwards and upwards. 

I like Christmas, even tho' I've worked Christmas day for 4 out of the last 5 years.

The year I didn't work Christmas Day was the year I worked Boxing Day evening instead. Kauto had just won his 5th King George and I had to scrape myself off the ceiling to get ready to go to work.

I will never work Boxing Day again. It was horrible having to go out when all I wanted to do was stay in and celebrate Kauto's victory with another piece of Christmas cake

I've included this Christmas in my calculations. I'm working Christmas Day again this year.

I have Boxing Day off. Come on, Cue Card! 

Christmas comes a lot later now.  Adverts used to start well into september, now late october, november in earnest
