3. Loyal fans - City fans are enjoying success but they have gone through the mill to get there. Did the support waver when they were down in the third tier of league football? Not a bit of it
Average attendances 1965 - 14,000
1984 - 25,000
1988 - 19,000
1999 - 28,000
Currently inc. BOGOFS - 45,000
Did their support waver? Not a bit of it. Have they been influenced by having a sugar daddy? Of course not. The 300+ % increase is pure chance.
Obvious innit? Except, how many of those 45000 are paid for?
Basically, it's like the chitchat forum. Once a set of w@nkers, always a set of w@nkers.
