Not quite the same, but I recall being present at an arm-wrestling match that was arranged in a similar fashion. The bloke who threw most of the insults online enjoyed the bout immensely; he was standing in the crowd beside me.
I'd be ok if it was me who had been challenged as I used to box many moons ago.
You would need to be a damned good boxer to arrange a blind fight with a stranger over the internet. Maybe it's just me being cynical, but I'd fully expect to be put in to a pro.
