Any time your parents or grandparents have a go at the youth of today, remind them that 38 years ago the most popular family sitcom on telly involved a middle-aged woman making constant jokes about her fanny.

Of course, like Ugly Naked Guy, and Mrs Wolowitz, you never got to actually SEE Mrs Slocombe's ****. Rendering it, essentially, Schrodinger's ****. It must , logically be either her cat or her fanny, yet the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that it is simultaneously both her cat AND her fanny. 70s TV had a lot more science in it than you might think.
