What have you eaten prior to 6pm? If you've been eating carbs it may be that your blood sugar is low, hence the irritability and agitation, leaving you craving something to give you a mild sugar high that has become a habit. Or perhaps not, something to consider anyway. But what happens if you move your dindins to 6pm, do you still need those drinks?

I reckon some people drink more in a day than I drink in a year. My intake is probably about one bottle of brandy and a dozen or so pints of lager.

In answer to Treble's original question: I would say he does have a problem if the thought of going without the drink makes him panic; it sounds like the start of a bigger problem to me.

2 cans of Fosters a day. lol. Nice fishing, plenty caught.

its what those 2 cans turn into as the years go by.
alcohol is the most insidious of all drugs, it just waits to entrap you, and if you do have a problem (habit) by the time your 50 birthday comes around, chances are its with you for the rest of your life creating all types of havoc physiological and psychologial. (after the age of 50 only 4% of problem drinkers are successful abstainers) |

Just don't have a multi pack of Fosters or whatever else in the house imo. It's out of sight out of mind ...
I very rarely drink, but if I go on a Stag Do or lads night out then I can drink alot, too much of the truth be told. At home if we have nothing in the house then I don't even think about having a drink and can go months without a drop of alcohol. Recently I fixed the garden fence for a neighbour, nice old lady next door. She went out to Tesco and bought me a 24 pack of Stella as a thank you. I stuck them in the conservatory and thought I'd do well to drink them by Christmas. Within a week I'd had about 10 or 11 cans. Not alot in the grand scheme of things, but was coming home, having one or two cans and then having me dinner. Just goes to show how easy it is to develop a habit without really realising it. Last few days I've just been having my usual pint of orange squash with my dinner and haven't even though about having a tin or two... |

Simple.
You have programmed your mind to do certain things at specific times. Everyone is the same,it's normal Change the program. Identify the triggers that start the event (the Drinking) and change trigger to mean something else.ie instead of having the drink, masturbate furiously. If this fails, lay down immediately.this method has a 100% success rate. As a last ditch resort.as the time approaches the trigger point of 6pm.change clock back to 5.30,and repeat manouvre 8 or 9 times then go to bed. |

Those Radlers actually make me feel sick.
I know Fosters is weak, but if I am gonna drink too much, it's better to drink a weak lager than an headbanging one. Shameful wino logic there ![]() Fosters Gold is actually a lovely lager drunk ice cold from the bottle. |
