I left Bluewater shopping centre on fri morning at 10am..... i eventually arrived home at 9.00pm.I live approx 15 miles from Bluewater....its an effing joke.I've said it once and i will say it again. The highway agencies and the motorway police combined, take a perverse pleasure in causing as much misery and frustration to motorists as they can..why?..because they can.Unfortunately for these people, getting the traffic moving and the road clear appears to be well down their list of priorities....seeeeeth.

The ONLY advantage I EVER came across in 25 years of living in Thurrock was they started giving residents Dartford crossings for 10p.
Now I don't live there I don't need them anyway!

It's ridiculous how few overhead bridges their are going east of the city of london nevermind underpasses, they are very well under served by them compared to the west of the city where they are plentiful.

scando...west of the city the river is quite narrow and there are no shipping issues. east of the city the thames widens and there are larger ships using tilbury etc.

The very fact that respected chit chatterers openly admit to going to places like Lakeside and Bluewater disturbs me greatly. Wild horses couldn't drag me to such locations

that is true blades, but they could still easily build a bridge between the blackwall tunnel and the Dartford Crossing, 15 miles of nothingness doesn't make sense, they've been campaigning for years to have one, Boris prefers obsessing with silly bike schemes.

It's Saturday afternoon, I've got my placepots organised, I have ATR and RUK on the go, Soccer Saturday is on, usually a live rugby union game as well and a fridge full of beer..
"You ready yet love?" "Erm, ready for what exactly my petal? "I'm going to Bluewater and thought you'd like to come as well to help me pick out a new dress and some scatter cushions." "Nah you're alright, I'll stay here thanks all the same."

Its all about the ticket barriers. Blame Brown. The construction company had a 15 year lease, after which, the bridge/tunnel would become property of the government, and free. Brown blocked this, and said all the money from the tolls would go to building other bridges. WALOFS. Not only did they keep the toll, they doubled the price overnight, and any bridges built subsequently were still financed by PFIs which we will be paying for, for years to come.

It used to be manned by one of the old boys from the local pub the Alleynes Head and he just waived me through but now it is automated so that perk has been withdrawn Henry the Eighth once owned Dulwich and sold it to his mate Thomas Calton in 1539 at a giveaway price of a mere £609.
