I worked at a firm once where we took over another business in Rotherhithe. Some of their staff came to work for us, but their foreman would only come if he was also made a foreman. When the boss saw him, he didn't like the fact he had tattoos, so he never got the job.

bought over a business and sacked them on any excuse
 if it wasnt tattoos it would be summit else  dont like them myself and dont like tattooed chav burds but a small bit of body art on a girl is fine . a lot of youngsters now getting them and you cant judge someone by a few tattoos . totally accepted now for lads to have a tattoo and many think they are odd man out without one ,its like the joke about a rough area ... pot bellies and tattoos and thats just the women  lets face it you would not like your ma or yer gran covered in tattoos but its happening ,changing world dudes waken up to it . |

It's like anything else. Some can be quite sexy. Some not so. Depends on the girl and the tattoo I suppose.

Not into Butch girls myself. This summer I saw a girl in her late 20s with a full sleeve. Was very impressed mainly due to the light colours/design she had chose. The Ink matched her complexion and hair to a tee (sucker for a blonde me).. was pretty damn cool. Seen some jet lagged horrors on older women , poor quality, many flippers. Would agree that it’s all about the choice of design /colours and if it fits the picture

I agree Broomwagon a lot of girls look extremely sexy with well chosen tattoos/designs as long as they don't go over the top & start to look 'a bit too manly for my liking'
Chavs will always be chavs (tattoos or not) and a nice girl will always be sexy , but it adds a bit of mystique to their character , if there was 2 equally sexy girls I'd prefer the one with a smartly chosen design  |

Some of the stupid feckers probably have that written in Sanskrit on their lower back, thinking it means some trite sh!te like 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.' That girl in her late 20s will be a 'jet lagged horror' herself one day, Broomwagon. How advertising your own stupidity is 'sexy' is beyond me. (Wife has two, for full disclosure!) |

Quite like looking at women with tattoos as it does always make me think they must be filthy trollopes. However, I do tend to look down on them and think they must be idiotic bints to think it was a good idea.
The ones that make me laugh are the ones with tattoos in Chinese writing on them. Are you Chinese? Ok, fair enough. Have you ever been to China and it made a huge impression on you? Ok, fair enough though tenuous. Can you read Chinese so you are able to know what it says when no-one else can? Dubious logic but maybe I'll let you have it. None of the above? Then how do you know that the tattoo 'artist' hasn't written "I take it up the botty" on your arm instead of the "Peace and love" you requested? Freaks. Also find the ones with their kids' names tattooed on them funny. Nothing says "I love you, you are the most precious thing in my life" like putting their name on your feet or fat back. |

I hate tattoos. The blonde girl from The Real Hustle (Jessica Clement I think) is a perfect case in point. She was once extremely attractive with a great figure, now she's got massive fake tits and is covered in horrible tattoos.

I too abhor them on women. "What a thicko" immediately springs to mind whenever I see a tattoo on a woman. They must have brains like sheep, ie, follow the pack and not think for themselves to undergo the desecration they commit their bodies to - for ever. Brainless. |

Zelda (ex forumite) was covered with them apparently and she was very bright, and wonderfully caring with all sorts of animals. Most wearers are slobs and thickos though, I would wager and they don't look good.

She'd have no problem getting a job at my local Morrisons. They seem to encourage them. In fact I said (in fake seriousness) to the store manager a few weeks back. I said my mate's daughter was looking for a job here but she doesn't have any tattoos, do you see that as a problem? He half smiled and walked away.
