Used to have a chairman called Jeremy fields as we were part of a group his visits were infrequent, We took to calling him strawberry in his absence. he was supposed to be visiting the factory to see a new bit of kit ,so i shouted to the production manager across the shop floor how longs old strawberry fields up for this time. He walks out of production managers office where he had been making a phone call and says forever old boy forever.True story and i never got a raise after that Untill the coont retired.

I had no idea who he was as our head office was in Kensington. He got out of his car and walked into the warehouse without asking anybody.
I walked in after him and asked him 'Where do you think you're going? This isn't open to the public to walk around. You need a visitors pass.'
