I did 5-0 6-0 7-0 and 8-0 Mc. Stand out prices with Will Hill. 5-0 was 7/1 as was 6-0. 7-0 was 8/1 and 8-0 10/1. Very good bet at a shade of odds on.

I prefer to back on here then you can trade in & out all the way through if you have to Wink

It usually has more value than dodging the commission & gaining half a point etc ..

Do you do all your trading before the event starts? If not it's not really trading imo.
By:

well it is in a way, but with a fair slice of gambling thrown in
By:
Mc Moonbeam
When: 09 Oct 14 21:45
No

I did trade the 2-0 pre match for a free bet .. then backed 3456-0 .. ditched 6-0 ... and traded 3-0 off @ 8's after backing @ 17.5

It is trading as if it goes to plan you're always laying bits off at lower prices  Happy

only way it goes very wrong is an Away goal Scared

but that's why you should trade down slightly !

I trade slightly to skew the book in my favour ... then it's a calculated gamble

You really have to pick your matches though .. strong Favs .. Premiership games usually this one was a nice bonus

I used to trade matches before kick off. I concentrated on the draw in tight games. I'd take several positions with large money in and regularly won a ton before kick off. Then one day the site went down and I wasn't sure of my positions and what had been matched. Luckily it came back with 7 mins to kick off and I had massive liabilities on the draw which luckily I could equal out. I've been a lot cagier since then

Well I didn't see them pumpy. I saw up to 3-0 and then any unquoted. No 4-0 or above prior to kick off.

you have to use the Correct Score 2 Market for 4-0 5-0 6-0 kenny

I don't usually back those scores in Prem games obv

No probs Happy

Higher scores like that can be more risky though also
By:

When: 09 Oct 14 22:08
Well I wouldn't do them normally (obviously) , but this was a goodish bet I reckoned given the opposition, who wouldn't conced 10 probably (goalie had played 40 times and let 161 in .

Any really short fav Kenny  on the footie the game will have a correct score 2 market its just you  have to scroll down quite a way on the markets for that match.

I recall a european game of some sort back in the mid 1970s when England were playing Cyprus.

I don't like football but was at my sister's house for dinner. She had to go out, and left me with the brother-in-law, who was football mad, so the match was on telly.

He had their baby daughter in his arms, who was being miserable. He said to her 'Oooh Sara, if England score daddy will dip your dummy in his scotch.'

England also won that match 5-0, and I think Sara was pissed. Laugh Laugh

I remember that game well, I was into football at that time. SuperMac scored all 5 goals.

16 April 1975: England's Malcolm Macdonald scores five against Cyprus.

Hey Coach

Yes I did notice it but I usually err on the lower side of the spread as I find that's the better value , I would've just plonked my money on under 6.5 tbh

Hope you're doing ok Happy

I had forgotten this was on until some time in the second half.

Since the crowd were cheering when the England goalie touched the ball I backed 'both teams to score - NO' at 1.07.

there was over £117,000 matched on this market.

Match Odds Total matched on this event:  £3,673,333

Glad to hear you're doing ok Coach

I'm not really too keen on these Qualifiers tbh so I won't be getting over involved tonight

I was at a huge loss after the world cup but am gradually making good headway lately just picking value off where I see it , i'll wait till Saturday for a couple of championship games I fancy now along with a few longer term trades

gl if you get involved though , might try a Holland/Italy double for a laugh @ 1.19 Wink

I do have a history of making England scores pay though , they're all so predictable , lol

Correct scores in these qualifiers was my best source of income until about 10 years ago when the betting firms finally cottoned on & slashed the prices mainly on 1-0 & 2-0 to the bone.
Up until then a team at say 1/5 to win the match would be priced

1-0 10/1
2-0 8/1
3-0 7/1

Even 4-0 & 5-0 were better than they are now

matches scores over the years have not really changed just the prices you can now get Sad

pumpy , i used to favour the 1-0 as  well  Wink

Moonbeam -  rough ride tonight if you were on Holland

i threw away £100 without realising what the score was - panic bought the 5-1 in  the dying seconds ,me thinking it was 4-1

can't afford these sort of  mistakes - someone got a free hand out  Cry

That sucks Coach .. though could always be worse Sad

No I didn't touch Holland in the end & ddn't do a silly double , I waited for in play & ended up on Italy 2-0 , only lost £25 in the end though , Lazy Italians have let me down for years , but I seem to have leaned a fair bit from my mistakes as History always repeats itself Wink

I used to dutch the correct scores in doubles & trebles years ago too Pumpy & have been a big correct score bettor since about 2007 on here , it's still profitable as long as there's liquidity to trade in & out freely Happy
By:

When: 10 Oct 14 22:13
Used to hardly bet until the qualifiers & had dozens of bets moon, singles, multiple double, trebles & even lucky 15's
My biggest win was when Sweden won 1-0 at Azerbajan they were around 1/5 & I lumped on at 10/1.

Glad your finding then still on here, play only small myself on the exchange, don't think the value is there for big bets anymore on flat bets but your probably right I'm sure in games such as England's you should be able to make it pay in running.
By:
Mc Moonbeam
When: 10 Oct 14 22:22
I prefer Premiership or Champs league games for decent bets really Pumpy as there are really too many options for qualifiers & that loose away goal always kills your bets dead

Premiership games for example you can back 2-0 3-0 & basically just wait , of course you have to land the correct score but prices will be getting shorter in running , or you can cover yourself late on by backing say 2-1 if it's 2-0 70 mins gone , it's all a matter of good timing as early goals can cause a bit of a panic Mischief
