Crackerjack had a quiz called 'Double or Drop' in which
you got goodies for every right answer and a cabbage for a wrong one, the snag was you had to hold them, 3 cabbages and you were out, you were also out and lost your prizes if you dropped them. Too cruel for todays children. I always wanted a crackerjack pencil. |

This takes me back,he lived in the road I was born and brought up in. I used to deliver his morning paper for years. I seem to remember he was quite generous with my Christmas box (no innuendo intended).

Thanks Do Wah. akabula. Palaybox was on every other Friday, also presented by Eamon. It was more of a thoughtful game show rather than slapstick, and I always looked forward to it.
