I wish an Argie would have killed Clarkson. There's not many people I dislike but that Xenophobic berk is one of them.
Report Ibrahima Sonko October 3, 2014 8:16 PM BST
still dont get the number plate, where does H play a part in it all ?
Report CLYDEBANK29 October 3, 2014 8:19 PM BST
There weren't any I registrations so H is as close as it could get with a legitimate number plate
Report Wesdag October 3, 2014 8:19 PM BST
Yet more bollocks from the beeb.
Report Ibrahima Sonko October 3, 2014 8:21 PM BST
I still reckon mr c is on mission to get sacked from the bbc, he owns the top gear franchise.

love his humour.
Report Money Tree cost me thousands!! October 3, 2014 8:27 PM BST
Quite a coincidence.
Report berto77 October 3, 2014 8:38 PM BST
Whenever they get into trouble the beeb really are the worst bullsh*tters I've ever heard.

A BBC spokesman said: "We're pleased the team is safe and would like to thank all of those who have helped. As the executive producer has made clear, the number plate issue is a very unfortunate coincidence."

Pathetic for the holier than thou BBC.  Just admit it.
Report GRANTCKING October 3, 2014 9:08 PM BST
hahaha its almost impossible for this to be a coincidence, love these top gear specials tho where they buy old bangers and go on a road trip
Report naydam October 3, 2014 9:17 PM BST
Would anybody care to explain what is the significance of the number plate? Confused
Report Mr Eboue October 3, 2014 9:18 PM BST
Falklands.
Report naydam October 3, 2014 9:23 PM BST
Ah. Do I take that they were in Argentina?
Report Mr Eboue October 3, 2014 9:24 PM BST
Indeed they were.
Report naydam October 3, 2014 9:27 PM BST
Thank you, sir.
Report GLASGOWCALLING October 3, 2014 11:45 PM BST
can only be described as a childish stunt acted out in the worst possible way, the sooner they scrap the licence fee the better.

as for that waste of space clarkson AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Report call me a taxi October 4, 2014 12:13 AM BST
I like him.
Report GLASGOWCALLING October 4, 2014 12:23 AM BST
that tells me all i need to know about you, thank you.
Report call me a taxi October 4, 2014 12:24 AM BST
No problem.
Report akabula October 4, 2014 2:04 PM BST
Good on him. After they videoed the Argie athlete running over the Falklands war memorial they deserve all they get.
Report akabula October 4, 2014 2:06 PM BST
I'm indifferent to him and the show btw
Report MisterBadger October 4, 2014 2:13 PM BST
I still don't get the number plate thing?  Confused
Report akabula October 4, 2014 2:17 PM BST
H982FKL

1982 Falklands
Report MisterBadger October 4, 2014 2:23 PM BST
jeez, that really is stretching a point  Cry

was it supposed to upset the locals?
Report akabula October 4, 2014 2:29 PM BST
It's upset some on here as well Laugh
Report Latalomne October 4, 2014 2:29 PM BST
No, it was purely coincidental!  LaughLaughLaugh
Report akabula October 4, 2014 2:32 PM BST
Anyways they buggers hid Hitler and all his pals. (Maybe Godwin had a point Laugh)
Report GLASGOWCALLING October 4, 2014 2:33 PM BST
no sympathy from me, pity they stopped at smashing the cars up and didnt carry on with clarkson, what a ridiculous foolhardy stunt

to perform. all funded by the licence payers, no wonder the licence fee is possibly going to be scrapped, the sooner the better for me.

he was on his last warning for the chinese remark....still hasnt learnt his lesson it seems. PRAT.
Report Thin and Crispy October 4, 2014 2:49 PM BST
Hilarious, well done the Argies.  I like to see this become a regular reaction to Jezzer and his annoying little chum.  Next week 4x4's across ISIS territory?
Report akabula October 4, 2014 3:07 PM BST
Aye well done the Argies, got Clarkson a barrow load of free publicity which he thrives on.
Bin him? The BBC loves him, never out the news. The more notorious he gets the more they love him.
Report Wesdag October 4, 2014 3:14 PM BST
Clarkson's whole career is based on 'accidentally' offending people and so we're supposed to believe the number plate was pure coincidence.
Report akabula October 4, 2014 3:25 PM BST
Loathe him or hate him Wink his show gets a huge following so he must be doing something right.
Report Wesdag October 4, 2014 3:27 PM BST
Tbh, any show about cars would get a huge following and if Clarkson was to disappear tomorrow, Top Gear would continue.
Report akabula October 4, 2014 3:35 PM BST
I've only ever watched it twice and thought all 3 presenters were in love with themselves.
Report naydam October 4, 2014 3:53 PM BST
I don't watch it either, but this 'bashing the cars up' by the locals is making me curious. I might hjave to keep my eyes open for a repeat.
Report Wesdag October 4, 2014 3:56 PM BST
Correct akabula.

Why mugs why go along to stand and watch while they indulge one another is beyond me.
Report Wesdag October 4, 2014 3:57 PM BST
*why=would
Report naydam October 4, 2014 4:04 PM BST
Maybe there are more activities than just the filming in the studio. I can't see why should call them 'mugs'. They are most likely there because they want to be. Maybe they get rewarded for it (but probably not). Maybe they just like the programme.
Report Wesdag October 4, 2014 4:08 PM BST
Obviously, they must like the show a hell of a lot, naydam.
Report naydam October 4, 2014 6:33 PM BST
That's what I thought. I just can't see why that makes them 'mugs'. Some people collect stamps. Some like horse racing. Some like playing sport.
Doesn't make anybody a mug. Just different.
Report ebulGery October 4, 2014 6:38 PM BST
Typical Clarkson humour, he has insulted just about every nation on earth
at one or another...not to be taken seriously

I like him and his team

He is a big money earner for BBC
Report ebulGery October 4, 2014 6:41 PM BST
I think he will be staying away from N words for a while...this is safer

but it was never meant to be taken seriously

agree, and although top gear is past it's peak, still best thing on the bbc, beats all the overhyped childish Doctor who crap anywayGrin
Report MadVlad October 4, 2014 6:53 PM BST
If anyone thought this was Clarksons idea alone is sadly deluded, the production team would have came up with the idea which would have been passed by the head honchos imo.
Report Akak October 4, 2014 7:00 PM BST
Someone working with D.V.L.A will probably spill the beens as to when it was purchased. Trouble looming @ BBC.Wink
Report Money Tree cost me thousands!! October 4, 2014 7:01 PM BST
Aka was about to say that. Was the plate all ways on that particular car I wonder?

Clarkson is the king of wordplay.
I have zero interest in cars but i love the top gear specials. Must be the traveller in me.
Keep on trucking Jeremy.
Report call me a taxi October 5, 2014 12:40 AM BST
There was  a 2 and half hour special on telly yesterday afternoon.
They had to build a bridge over the River Kwai.
Never had time to watch it.
