All I have tried is kangaroo in australia, beaver in lithuania, horse in japan. Cant think of much else. Are they worth experimenting with?

A great chef said 'there is a reason in Britain we eat sheep, pig, and cow.' If these meats were to our palate it would be easy enough to breed them for domestic consumption. Having tried goat curry (strange taste & lots tiny little bones), horse (bit tough) and crocodile (like a watery chicken & weird hybrid of fish/chicken) I can only concur with those wise words.

I like to try different foods but frankly my search for culinary enlightenment has fallen flat on its arse in the meat stakes!

No difference between a Bison and a Buffalo, except you can't wash your hands in a buffalo.
Where's the Squirrel?
Why would you "partially cook" Ostrich Fillet? It is fine to cook from raw

Generally sounds good, although you'd worry about Wagyu Beef that is ONLY fit for burgers AND needs sweet-chilli

Not exactly exotic, but I brought some Andouilette back from France. It's supposed to be a delicacy. It's Sausage made with the colon of a Pig. I fried it up and it immediately stank the kichen out. Like a tramp had broken in and had a dump on the floor then set light to it. I thought I'd taste it though, with some Dijon Mustard as per the reccomendation. Absolutely disgusting. Closest you can get to eating faeces without becoming one of those Japanese women. I had to throw it in the bin then throw the bin away.

Most of the products are processed. No mention of how much filler, onion, breadcrumbs, ash, coatings etc added.

What are the food hygiene standards in the countries in which the products were manufactured?

£14 a kilo is a lot when you don't know what you are getting.

Years ago i bought a pack of frozen Dalesteaks from Iceland.Dont know what "animal" they were made from but i have not eaten anything as exotic before or since.
