I got one a couple of years ago. I had a abcess removed from a tooth at the hospital. The tooth had no nerve but was fine for 25 years , until coming lose and falling out last year.
When I first put the denture in , I felt light headed & claustrophobic. I wanted to take it out straight away , but the dentist persuaded me to persevere.
Now , I think nothing of it all .....and to be fair it looks better than any of my real teeth.

Here's another one of my Grandad's favourite jokes.
A coloured man came to England and got a job selling babanas on a market stall. The stall owner said to him "If someone asks you how much they are, you say 'two a penny'. If they ask you if they're ripe, you say 'some are, some aren't'. And if they say they won't have any today, you say 'If you don't, somebody else will'".
All went well, until a customer asked him the time. The man replied "two a penny". So the customer said "are you trying to be funny?", and the man replied "some are, some aren't". Then customer, who was quite irate by now said "If you carry on like that, I'm going to punch you on the nose!". And the man replied...
..."If you don't, somebody else will."
