13 Mar 15 20:28 not douting you have winning days but you never admit loosing days as i said tother day 15 picks 3 winners 6/1 3/1 2/1 and an aftertimed f/c and tricast 1300 quid lose on placepots and you said you had a winning day, please explain this This is the last time I'm going to reply to your drivel, that day I did a preview there were 4 winners not three infact I had small bets on the three other winners,if you read the write up it says I could see the first three fighting out the finish. On form and times they were clear of that fied,i backed them all ew all placed winner 6/1 the fcast paid £26 and had the trifecta 15x paid £88 plus I had two other ews at 12s placed and a fcast, the first race had put me in profit even if I didn't have another winner!!The write up was self explanatory as the rest of the card was poor value even though styill made profit on it,you read the rest of the card I never gave a postitve preview on any other race bar the first it was basically just filling the write up baeed on first race. |

Blimey Gigs you almost sound bitter for some reason
![]() Just want to take you to task on this thegiggilo 13 Mar 15 20:37 You mean this snowdancer pump best speedfigure in race only 2 runs over the trip, almost another nice touch.. The horse has actually raced 4 times over C & D not twice & best place was 4th, was actually on it the first time it ran over C & D I think I got 33/1 & ran a respectable 4th it finally wins eleven races later I had backed it just the once since then & today was its first win in 36 races, my guess is its been the best speedfigure in more than just today's AW race |
|
By:
Backed it at 6/1 pumph,i'd be surprised of the rest of them will ever win a race thought it had only had the two c/d runs the previous run was fsstest by some way compasred to the rest of the field over that trip, was the only backable horse in the race.If Philip prince hadn't given the firs one such a poor ride that would've won as well franking the form, its all about prices probably the only time it will ever be a bet was when it drifted to 6/1...
|
|
By:
Agree with you about prices, I read the form before I get influenced by the betting, I know the type of horse I am looking for in the race I am studying, often when I expect a double figure price & see its forecast to be around say 5/1 so I wont get involved, that's not to say I don't back 5/1 shots but fully expect those to be to the fore in the betting.
Had a stinker of a cold this week so have not got my head around it but a couple of potential races at Wolver tomorrow night so going to take a look. |
|
By:
If you really wanted to improve your profits, the way to do it is study times and learn to adjust them at the weights if you could take time to learn it you'd increase your returns 10 fold you'd also cut out a lot of losing bets as you'd know how slow some are relative to ratings even though you may think they are big prices.
I take every race on the aw and write all best or put their last 3/4 runs down trying to get an average times by each runner when doing the form, then taking into account draws pace look at prices, cracking example was tonight you see the bet I did anniversaire 8/1 and smugglers point 8/1 had the best times in race and beating of fav 1,2 not by much but 4x the price. The fcast paid £47 had it to a few quid but those 3 were clear of the field that was just one example tonight, the hodges runner in the first and snow dancer similarly plus indian affair with tsarglas kicking myself didn't back the pair in the last now or at least in multiple. |
|
By:
I suspect you have a lot more patience than me but may sort out a couple of races next week & try it just to see how it goes.

The thing about aw horses if they can produce a decent time, they invariably will do it again 90% of the to follows I note are based on times so I know if they reproduce that run they will win.Thats the point of keeping them noted,as they may run on wrong surface, wrong trip I've had to follows that i've had to wait a year for ideal conditions, lots of them are avoidable because of prices its just like having a better formbook to hand.Pehaps a lot of them will never be value but at least I know what they are capable of doing and you can have horses that tell you they have a stone in hand just based on a time. There's been loads on the to follows winjing lately I've only backed the ones that have drifted, thus no bets on puntersmate as a lot of them opened short,i have virtually stopped posting on forums again now anyway.

Your horses get cut to shreds on there win or lose

By:
I post on there but not that often but someone who posts on the betfair forum took exception because I posted under another name, he thought that was so out of order he trolls me over here now
![]() |
|
By:
Everyone's following them not just that they are on another forum that gets huge viewing figures and the thread I have on there is purely my to follow horses I add on so the prices crash straight away, the other forum I post on has trainers, owners, spotlight writers, timform employees and a lot of books reps on there traders etc.I'm stupid for posting them on there really, one of the traders works for powers,he said to me its as though I'm forming the markets and asks me what the ricks are for the following day via email, don't know if you've noticed but ppower are taking a long time to price up races noawadays as well.Like I said a lot of them I don't back because of prices just too short,my asvice would be for anyone following them is just put them in multiples iof prices l;ook a bit short especially the recent editions at least if they all win they won't be wasted..

Typical bookies using others to create a book as they are totally clueless, it does happen I know that for a fact going back years ago from spread betting.

Pumphol I don't know if you were around when that goon onthefence was around and all the vile crap he was putting around about the poop deck, well basically grimsters and other loons are the off cuts of thiose ****s,they follow me everywhere thus the wind up..This is how pathetic they are,i got a pm from john Mc craken on here telling me onthefence was going posting on the other forum I'm on trying to call me a rraud etc, absolute scum of the earth these people unfortunately for thenm the rest of the forum I mentioned had been winning fortunes off the bets I was putting up.He's on puntersmate now and with a few of the rest of the loons, loads pcs from whitley bay looking in and same on other forum I was on.How desperate are these idiots just to see what I'm posting,i've playing with them since I knew..

I have no problem with Banter, or taking people to task over things like aftertiming etc but when it gets personal or is just plain trolling for the sake of it then its got out of hand.

By:
They used to taunt me about my heart condition, they accused me of losing peoples jobs in bookies, putting people away on horses I even got a threatening text interesting where they got my phone number from,a couple of them even fooled me into emailing them some picks for around two years at the same time as doing all this other stuff on here until I pieced it together. And all because they couldn't get my picks, absolute scum of the earth although now they have been
exposed as frauds and liars you hardly see them or even hear from them anymore skulking away with embarrassment. I drag them out on these forums just by simply posting a few placepots as I know they want to be on them,so easy to spot them especially as I make sure they're only on there 5 mins before the off.. |
|
By:
Taunting someone about ill health is nothing short of disgusting, you really should not put yourself through it to be honest, you don't need the grief & if you thought about it you don't need the attention if its bringing you a load more grief.
|
|
By:
But in the end I single handedly made them look stupid, they won't even show themselves plus I was already on those forums then I realized they'd joined up it stopped me putting bets up unfortunately, just annoyed me so much knowing they would be betting them couldn't bring myself to do it.
The bloke off the one forum told me that 8 new addys had been set up from onthefences isp in one week and he had to keep deleting him, absolute looney tunes but every little wind up I get in is sweet little fish... |

They are lucky I don't know who they are,as they'd get a right hammering if I did..

The fact he is so versatile looks natural from the front and won off the pace at lingfield last time out and equally looked as good on both surfaces has even won at swell previously as well,he was eyecatcher penultimate run when badly hampered and has won twice since,he's going to get a big hike after this around the mid 80s wouldn't really interest me if higher than 85 so hopefully will be around that mark. The other interesting thing was the time only .05 slower than when boom the groom was off 86 carrying 8-12 won over 5fs here back in November yet carrying 9n pound more and as seen tonight hacking up,there are very few progressive sprinters around on the aw around these marks and ron harris has had a poor season but he is good with these sprinters and could be running in the higher class sprints at the end of april... 8 ran TIME 1m 0.30s (fast by 0.20s) This is an example of a horse that's run a monster time and disappointed twice since but at lingfield,he's off 85 I'd be interested to see where he is at the end of the season the time alone and ease of win he has to be better than an 85 horse. |

i have no idea what your dribbling on about regards to a gang hunting you around forums but you definatly have mental problems and severe paranoia imo if you were winning 400k a year why the fook would you be hanging around on here ,you should be enjoying life ffs get a grip and see a doctor

The most interesting thing is he looks purely dirt horse, sire ap indy top class sire out of seattle slew on dirt and what Julie cecil does with this horse in future presume he will come back to swell and he maybe one of those rare horses that progresses so much he might be seen abroad in future .He's going to take a big hike for this and it maybe his future lies over further, the fact ap indy has such good progeny on dirt but in Europe very poor on turf majkes the placing even more interesting. Hi Jockey
Think nowadays its more about how often you beat the SP Several people have come on to say they have had half a dozen bets no winners but closed or restricted because the SP is shorter. Your betting pattens will soon come under review unless your doing loads of multiples forecasts etc, of course some firms are worse than others BS will close you down after one bet if your not there type of punter. If your shrewd you are unlikely to last long. |
|
By:
Several people have come on to say they have had half a dozen bets no winners but closed or restricted because the SP is shorter.
Exactly. I had maybe six bets over about two weeks with a firm where they were top price. They all lost. I was only staking about £10 but they barred me. |
|
By:
...the reason they gave in the email mentioned "betting patterns".
I wouldn't call myself shrewd; I was just looking at Oddschecker. If a firm is prepared to offer a standout price, why complain when you take it? |
|
By:
ah ok thanks.
remember mountains restricting me many years ago just before betfair....i did accas with them back then. pre betfair they used to make some right mistakes. got a 365 account now for when i drift into foreign residency accasionally...dont ask.. just wondered as ive read a few internet posts saying they are good but also they can restrict you if you win around 2k... may be different in spain as the spanish pay 20% on profits from gambling....so if they are restricted the spanish govenment are losing out ....wonder if that is against their liscense? |
|
By:
think it should be a matter for a regulatory body if a bookie refuses one person a price and then gives that same price to another person.
they can cry traders decision etc but it makes no sense if they still offer the price to another person. its descriminatory. |
|
By:
come to think of it if punters had represenation on the GC we could lobby the government to allow only licences to those who didnt restrict or close for the corect reasons....ie..people with serious ganbling problems.
thats what the gc is really meant to be for. |
