Harold Ramis, Bob Hoskins, Robin Williams
... and now Joan Rivers
(some of the above are obviously vaguely comedians)

Most missed, imo, are Rik,Roger and Robin... all begin with 'R' strangely enough.

She was only joking recently about dropping dead, and then she almost drooped dead, was kept alive for a sometime and died.
She was flippant about others dying, even innocent people in wars, no disrespect to her but now it`s her time. She is dead.

Her spiel was to take an essential truth and then embellish it for comedic or shock effect. What part of her diatribe was wrong though? The people did vote for Hamas. That was true. Hamas have declared war on Israel that is also true. They keep getting a pasting. That is also true. And yet the people perpetuate their misery and defeat by voting for Hamas. That is also true. So the people are a bit stupid as she said.
Apart from the fact that you think her comments were insensitive or inhumane she was actually making a point which needs to be addressed by the Palestinian people.
You have no such excuse. We have a long tradition of not speaking ill of the dead. What is noteworthy is how easy some people find it to go against this tradition when it suits. When he died many people who profoundly disagreed with his ruinous politics paid their respects to Tony Benn. When Thatcher died you couldn't move for gurning left wing imbeciles dancing in the street.

Joan Rivers was superb the best female comedian bar none and up their with the greats like Thatcher in her field.
