Akabula, do people still have lino in their house? That went out in the 70's I thought.

Report crags September 3, 2014 11:16 PM BST
Lino is better than vinyl but much more expensive. Hence the popularity of vinyl
Report themightymac September 3, 2014 11:17 PM BST
It`s quite tricky laying linoleum. You need a flair for it. Crazy

Wooden floors in all rooms except 'nanny's old bedroom' which is carpeted, and the kitchen and the bathroom have ceramic floor tiles. Only other carpet is on the stairs and the upstairs hall.
Report SlippyBlue September 3, 2014 11:23 PM BST
It's all wooden floors in these here parts.
Report wit-ham September 3, 2014 11:26 PM BST
mine is alsorts of different flooring depending on which quarter of the studio flat you go
Report SlippyBlue September 3, 2014 11:29 PM BST
A few rugs scattered around though that have to be steam cleaned every now and then as muttley scrapes his itchy arris on them sometimes Sad
Report crags September 3, 2014 11:31 PM BST
Carpets in all rooms except kitchen and bathroom is the way to fly. Wooden floors are too noisy, slippy, cold and unsuitable for dogs, they will slip all over them. Most people cover them with large rugs that are nearly as big as the rooms! then they see sense and cover them with a nice fitted carpet = Loads of dosh down the drain
Report themightymac September 3, 2014 11:33 PM BST

Slippy,
our dog spends most of the day up here with me.
When I go down for dinner she follows me for her 'scoobie-snacks'Love but if I go for a gypsys kiss, instead of going downstairs, she waits, but rolls round in circles on the carpet in the hall while she does so.
Report themightymac September 3, 2014 11:37 PM BST

Now we know you have no kids in the house.
Report SlippyBlue September 3, 2014 11:37 PM BST
It's fair comment crags about dogs, I got downstairs repolished and he was skidding around like Bambi on ice, hence all the rugs now. I can't be doing with carpets though.
