A fiver would have fed me for 3 months considering what they gave me to eat at my last visit to a NHS hossy..
The problem is that nobody is accountable!
No point talking to the nursing staff as it it's not their business!
No point talking to the serving wenches as they don't speak English.
My wonderful mum was in for the last time before she was told there was nothing more they could do.
They came round with the evening menu and she just fancied some fish.
This is a 74 year old woman with respiratory problems ans false teeth.
She, and we, were expecting a nice piece of steamed fish with mash and veg.
What she got was a dried up abomination of what may once have been partially fish covered with artificial bread crumbs.
No exaggeration but it would have made a good axe head, and would have needed an angle grinder to cut it!
Probably a good job that we couldn't cut it as she would have choked on it
