I would assume that the police investigations into child abuse are still ongoing. However, you cannot, and should not, expect all other illegal and anti-social activities to be ignored.

I think this thread shows just how "Enriched" our country has been by the widespread Diversity and Vibrant Cultures that absolutely no-one here requested, less still voted for.

Take Ed Miliband, who told Muslim News last week that a future Labour government would outlaw Islamophobia, making it an aggravated crime.
“We are going to make sure it is marked on people’s records, with the police to make sure they root out Islamophobia as a hate crime,” said Miliband. “We are going to change the law so we make it absolutely clear of [sic] our abhorrence of hate crime and Islamophobia. It will be the first time that the police will record Islamophobic attacks right across the country.”
This is deeply disturbing. Do you reckon the Labour leader has read any of the recent reports into child-sex grooming gangs? You know, the ones that concluded that the main reason local authorities, police and social services did nothing to protect thousands of young girls from abuse at the hands of mainly Pakistani men was because they were afraid of appearing racist?
One taxi driver actually laughed as he informed his victim that her complaints would be in vain because “they won’t dare touch us”. He was absolutely right.
Shamefully, fear of alienating “the community” has guided the behaviour of Labour councils in parts of the country that have become bywords for the rape, torture and trafficking of mainly vulnerable white girls.
Far from focusing on Islamophobia, Mr Miliband should be directing Labour apparatchiks, brainwashed about the joys of multiculturalism, to root out the hate crime of misogyny, still considered acceptable by so many in “the community”. A phobia is an irrational fear.
It’s perfectly rational to be outraged by the figures that follow: Rochdale 65, Rotherham 1,400, Newcastle 93, Manchester 650, Derby 27... and on and on, in pain and infamy.
These figures are the recorded instances of vile abuse against girls in Labour areas that rely on the Muslim vote. When tallied up, the tally stands at well in excess of 4,000 children.

Well, it would seem that child abuse is a much more popular pastime than I thought. As far as I can estimate, about one third of the population will be voting Labour. This, according to your post, equates to one third of the population voting FOR child abuse.
Bearing in mind that there are probably child abusers who DON'T vote for Labour...that could mean that the majority of the population are child abusers! I find this quite worrying.

It would seem odd to me that abuse of this level has not been uncovered yet, but that's exactly what happened in Rotherham.

Children in the Black Country are being sexually exploited, with gangs similar to those in Rotherham operating in the West Midlands, says a police report.
The heavily-redacted findings reveal there are ‘significant similarities’ between child sex abuse here and the scandal in Yorkshire.
The findings are revealed in a West Midlands Police report entitled Child Sexual Exploitation, which was produced in October last year but has only now been made public.
The report reveals:
Organised gangs, typically of Asian origin, are targeting victims at children’s homes and schools
They are also using hotels and parks for ‘house parties’ to abuse youngsters
Victims are usually white females aged 13-16
210 children or young people were sexually exploited or at risk of sexual exploitation in the West Midlands in the first six months of 2014
It is marked as ‘restricted’ and large sections of information have been redacted – blacked out.
In Wolverhampton, the city council’s processes are criticised and the report states: “Inference: There are significant numbers of child sex exploitation victims that are not identified by the Wolverhampton local authority.”
A map showing two ‘clusters’ where there have been ‘high concentrations’ of ‘referrals’ in the city is among the items to have been covered up. Certain postcodes and a list of areas in Wolverhampton have also been redacted.
None of the councils in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell and Dudley have escaped criticism in the report, which was compiled in October last year but has only now been made available to the public.
Other hotspots in the region are Lye, Brierley Hill, Tipton, Smethwick and Rowley Regis in Sandwell, Willenhall and Walsall town centre.
But council bosses don’t know how many children are being abused and some of the information needed to identify abuse is ‘non-existent’.
Abuse is a top priority, say police
West Midlands Police said officers ‘across the force’ had in the past year been trained how to deal with child sex exploitation and tackling the problem was a ‘top priority’.
The force recently created 10 ‘child sex exploitation co-ordinator’ roles, one for each on its 10 local policing units.
Assistant Chief Constable Carl Foulkes said: “Child sex exploitation affects all communities and remains a top priority for us – nothing is more important in policing than protecting vulnerable people.
“The responsibility of tackling this lies with every police officer, staff member, PCSO and special constable.
“Over the last 12 months the force has carried out extensive work to train officers across the force in identifying and dealing with child sex exploitation so we can improve the outcomes for victims.
“A primary role of a co-ordinator is to review all missing and absent child records and record the incident appropriately.
“If the assessment is that the child has been exposed to child sex exploitation, Children’s Services are informed and a professionals meeting is conducted, whereby all details and information is shared.”
All the Black Country councils have come under fire for not sharing enough information about potential victims.
The 125-page report was released by West Midlands Police after a Freedom of Information request. But lots of details remain redacted. It reveals that between January and June last year, 210 children were identified by councils as having been ‘sexually exploited or at risk of sexual exploitation’. But a lack of processes to identify potential victims means there could be many more slipping through the net.
Police said it was ‘difficult’ to say how many were being abused, or at risk of being abused. The report compares the situation to Rotherham, where at least 1,400 youngsters were sexually exploited by gangs between 1997 and 2013. It states: “An assessment of all child sex exploitation profiles produced by West Midlands Police since 2010 identifies a consistent profile in relation to victims, locations and offenders. There are significant similarities to the Rotherham victim/offender and location profiles. Fresh evidence has emerged that authorities in Rotherham were warned about child sexual exploitation in 2003 and again in 2006.
Police and council officials took no action despite being told organised gangs were grooming and abusing girls.
Ex-South Yorkshire Police drugs analyst Angie Heal said she "cannot fathom" why her reports did not lead to action.
Last year, an inquiry found 1,400 children were abused by gangs of men, mainly of Pakistani origin.
The abuse happened between 1997 and 2013.
In the first report, released under a Freedom of Information request by The Sheffield Star, Dr Heal warned in 2003 there was no room for complacency over the issue.
However, in a follow-up report three years later, she again detailed the problem saying the situation in Rotherham was established and very serious.
'No holds barred'
The reports, which also highlighted child sexual exploitation in Sheffield, said girls in Rotherham were being abused by gangs also involved in drug dealing and violence.
The findings came about after Dr Heal was appointed in her capacity as a strategic drugs analyst to carry out research on drug use, drug dealing and related problems in the county from 2002 to 2006.
The 2014 Jay report, which uncovered the scale of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham, makes reference to Dr Heal's 2003 report being contained in an information pack, which was presented to Rotherham Council in November 2004.
It also states both the 2003 and 2006 reports were sent to high ranking offices and other agencies including South Yorkshire Police's district commander and chief superintendents.
Rotherham Council, which is now run by government appointed commissioners, said it had been "unable to find any reference to the documents being formally considered" by the authority.
"I just cannot fathom why no action, no concerted action, was taken," said Dr Heal, who has since left the South Yorkshire force.
"There didn't seem to be a co-ordinated response from senior police officers to this really, really serious crime."
Speaking to the Victoria Derbyshire programme, one abuse victim said the lack of intervention was "sickening".
"They knew what was happening yet they still let myself and many others suffer and be raped on a daily basis."
"Even 13 years on, I've been fighting constantly just for answers."
Findings 'widely known'
South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Billings said agencies knew about Dr Heal's reports at the time but were focusing on other issues.
"The reports are utterly shocking. When you read them there's no holds barred," he said.
"They went not only to police and local government but to safeguarding boards and the national government. It was widely known what she said.
"I think there are more people that have questions to answer than the police. The only sense I can make of it is that at that time, police were prioritising other things like burglary and car theft. I don't think anyone understood what grooming was."
In a statement, South Yorkshire Police admitted to past failings and pointed to an ongoing investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission into misconduct issues.
It said it had made "significant progress" in tackling child sexual exploitation but understood more "needs to be done".
"Anyone that understood the issues of child sexual exploitation and abuse would have thought there was a moral duty to act, let alone a legal duty," Dr Heal added.
"It meant that a significant number, over 1,400, continued to be abused, exploited, raped, their families devastated by what happened.
"It makes me really angry and very upset that it was allowed to continue."

We are going to need more prisons
Police in Keighley, West Yorkshire have charged 14 men and a 16-year-old boy with sex offences including the rape of a girl under the age of 16. The offences relate primarily to one female victim, with one allegation involving a second who was also under 16 at the time.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2011 and 2012. In echoes of the recent Rotherham grooming case, the 15 males, all with Muslim names, are due to appear before Bradford Magistrates Court on 30 June.
The 16-year-old cannot be named for legal reasons, but the 14 men have been named as:
Sufyan Ziarab, 22, of Keighley, charged with two counts of rape.
Yasser Kabir, 24, of Keighley, charged with four counts of rape.
Bilal Ziarab, 20, of Bradford, charged with two counts of rape.
Tauqeer Hussain, 22, of Keighley, charged with four counts of rape.

Last September, the Telegraph and Argus reported that 28 men had been arrested in Keighley for alleged offences against four girls as police investigated allegations of child sexual exploitation.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police confirmed to Breitbart London that yesterday’s charges are related to those arrests, adding that arrests had been ongoing since 2012.
A total of 54 suspects were arrested across the Bradford district, of which Keighley is part, in the five months from October 2012. They followed the conviction of Shazad Rehman and Bilal Hussain for raping a 14-year-old girl “one after the other”, as well as raping other teenage girls after luring them into cars. Rehman was jailed for 18 and a half years while Hussain was sentenced to 17 and a half years.
At the time, Chief Superintendent Angela Williams said that police were aware of networks that exist between groups of child abusers.
“Obviously I cannot discuss ongoing cases, but we are aware of networks and how those involved work in an organised and deliberate fashion.”
The arrests follows the story of 1400 young, predominantly white girls who were systematically groomed and raped at the hands of mostly Pakistani men in Rotherham, 50 miles from Keighley.
It has been suggested that authorities routinely turn blind eyes to these cases for fear of being labelled “racist”.
Police in Keighley, West Yorkshire have charged 14 men and a 16-year-old boy with sex offences including the rape of a girl under the age of 16. The offences relate primarily to one female victim, with one allegation involving a second who was also under 16 at the time.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2011 and 2012. In echoes of the recent Rotherham grooming case, the 15 males, all with Muslim names, are due to appear before Bradford Magistrates Court on 30 June.
The 16-year-old cannot be named for legal reasons, but the 14 men have been named as:

The Labour council of Rotherham stands accused of ignoring child sex abuse on an unimaginable scale for 16 years. There can be no more serious charge against a public body. Former councillors who dismissed evidence or otherwise attempted to pervert the course of justice should be arrested. Officers who snubbed appeals from desperate children and their families have no place in our police force.
Thus far, a mere five men have been jailed in connection with the disgusting crimes in Rotherham. A further 30 are under investigation. We need a campaign to get other abused children to come forward and receive the appropriate help. We need them to identify the perpetrators. Shame and name, and shame again. Above all, we need those girls to know that what was done to them was criminal, and the way those crimes were ignored and suppressed by powerful men with a political agenda was despicable as well as criminal. To avoid rocking the multicultural boat, they fed 1,400 children to the sharks. No just God would stand for what they did.

The former deputy leader of the shamed Labour council that failed to protect generations of children from sexual abuse last night flatly refused to apologise to the victims.
There was growing outrage over the failures by Rotherham council, which turned a blind eye while Pakistani grooming gangs sexually preyed on an estimated 2,000 girls.
As it emerged that a string of those responsible have gone on to lucrative jobs at other councils – some in charge of safeguarding children – the Labour former deputy council leader Jahangir Akhtar was asked if he wanted to apologise to the victims of sexual abuse.
In response, he shouted: ‘Absolutely not – go away.’ He refused to open the front door of his £150,000 detached home near the centre of Rotherham.
Mr Akhtar, 54, who has previously been pictured standing shoulder to shoulder with Labour leader Ed Miliband, was forced to ‘step aside’ from his role as deputy leader following allegations that he had been involved in a deal to help a relative accused of grooming an underage girl. He then lost his seat to Ukip at last year’s local elections.
Meanwhile, Shaun Wright – head of children’s services at Rotherham council from 2005 to 2010 who was forced to quit as South Yorkshire police commissioner after fierce criticism of his role – yelled abuse when questioned about the report by a reporter.
At his luxury five-bedroom house on an exclusive executive estate outside Rotherham, Mr Wright, 46, told the reporter: ‘I’m not in the public domain any more – you have no right. Just get off my property. I’m not talking!’
The council’s former leader, Roger Stone, who like Mr Wright refused to co-operate with an inspection into the affair which this week branded the authority ‘in denial’, was not at his home and failed to respond to telephone messages.
After the entire council cabinet was forced to resign, the Prime Minister said yesterday that the same phenomenon was occuring across the country in Labour controlled boroughs.
On a trip to Leeds, David Cameron promised that extra resources would be provided to Rotherham council if needed.

West Midlands Police withheld a report warning that more than 100 predominantly white children – some only 13 years old – were at serious risk of child exploitation for fear it could inflame racial tension ahead of a General Election. It was finally revealed today, under the Freedom of Information Act, that Britain’s second largest police force withheld the March 2010 document – ‘Problem Profile, Operation Protection’ – which set out how grooming gangs of 75 mainly Muslim men from Birmingham targeted schools and children’s homes across the West Midlands.
The Daily Mail reports the document also described the use of white girls to recruit other vulnerable targets on the gangs’ behalf, but fears of prompting confrontation ahead of the May 2010 General Election and an English Defence League rally in April leading to a “backlash against law abiding citizens from Asian/Pakistani communities” led to the report being suppressed.
It appears that the motivation for the secrecy is similar to that lying behind the Rotherham cover up scandal. There police and social workers stand accused of being too concerned about being labelled racist to prosecute properly the sex crimes involving 1,400 children.
Despite receiving the warnings which identified a potential 139 victims of which more than half were aged 13 to 15, senior officers in the West Midlands did not warn the public or appeal for information about the men responsible, most with a history of sexual violence. The victims were from Birmingham, Dudley and Walsall, half lived with their parents and 41 per cent were in care.
The Daily Mail quotes several passages, albeit heavily redacted for publication. One reads:
“In (redacted) a teacher at a (redacted) that a group of Asian males were approaching pupils at the school gate and grooming them. Strong anecdotal evidence shows this MO (modus operandi) is being used across the force.

Taxi drivers in Rotherham have gone on indefinite strike over new rules forcing them to install CCTV in their vehicles. The policy becomes effective Monday and is one of the key recommendations of the Jay Report which estimated that 1,400 children were sexually exploited in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013 after being trafficked by local Asian gangs.
The cost of installation has been cited by the striking drivers as the reason for their action. The town has about 50 Hackney Carriage taxis and 800 private hire vehicles which the council want to ensure retain the confidence of their public users.
Cab operators took action last weekend and protested outside the Town Hall on Monday. They have not said how long the current action will last and are also planning a “slow” drive through the town.
Driver Rajah Khan told the BBC: “It [the new policy] is draconian and punitive. We condemn those people who have been involved in child grooming but do not tar us all with the same brush.”
The new licensing policy also requires drivers to adhere to a dress code, reviews licences and introduces additional background checks.
Karl Battersby, from the council, said: “The starting point of all this is about public confidence in the trade. We are looking at whether people are ‘fit and proper’ to have a license.”
He said the council was meeting again with taxi representatives on Monday and will “encourage them to work with us rather than a situation which causes disruption to the public.”
The Jay Report was published last August and the latest move to screen and control taxi drivers belies the fact that despite the scale of organised child sexual abuse exposed, some on girls as young as nine, only a few arrests have been made. No social workers or police officers have been reprimanded.
A second follow-up report published in February by Louise Casey, commissioned by the then communities secretary, Eric Pickles, found it an uncontested fact that children in Rotherham were “sexually exploited by men who came largely from the Pakistani heritage community” and that not enough was done to acknowledge this, stop it happening, protect children, support victims and apprehend perpetrators.
Two Rotherham taxi drivers who were arrested on suspicion of sexual offences against under-age girls had their licences revoked in April. The men, aged 36 and 37, were bailed after being detained, according to the BBC.

Two Rotherham taxi drivers who were arrested on suspicion of sexual offences against under-age girls had their licences revoked in April. The men, aged 36 and 37, were bailed after being detained, according to the BBC.

TWO men and a woman have been charged by police over child sex offences as part of an operation which has now seen 19 people arrested.

She was raped by a 30-year-old man in a school playground at night when she was just 11, leaving her feeling ashamed and disgusted.
And it was just after her 12th birthday that Sarah got into a car with a fat 35-year-old British Pakistani man who took her virginity.
She explains: 'From the age of 11, I was showered with gifts from men in their twenties and thirties who pretended they were my friends.
'They told me I was beautiful and bought me anything I wanted: phones, clothes, takeaway food, cigarettes and, of course, alcohol and drugs. Some even claimed that they loved me.
'By the time they took me to strange towns to have sex with them and all their mates, aged 12, I was so brainwashed I thought it was normal.'
Such was the scale of the grooming in the South Yorkshire town at the time, Sarah said 'lots of girls were being groomed like I was. To us, grooming was normal.'
Describing the horrific sexual abuse she was subjected to, Sarah said: 'Some nights, I was driven hundreds of miles away and ordered to have sex with as many as seven men in a row.'
She said refusing wasn't an option.
'How could I say no? I didn't want to be stranded with no money to get home and they'd got me hooked on the alcohol and drugs they knew I couldn't afford myself.
'Plus, they'd threatened to petrol bomb my family home if I didn't do as they said,' she said.
She revealed: 'My mum reported me missing countless times but the police barely batted an eyelid.
'The reason? In their opinion, we'd agreed to this. We kept going back to these men, so surely they couldn't be raping us.

More than 160 police officers are under investigation in the Rotherham abuse scandal over allegations they systematically ignored complaints of widespread child sexual exploitation.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has already identified 60 officers as part of a major investigation into the scandal and 100 others are in their sights.
The watchdog is examining whether or not disciplinary or even legal action should be brought against police officers who are accused of ignoring victims’ claims that they were being sexually trafficked and abused.
The IPCC has received 47 referrals from South Yorkshire Police since the publication of the Jay report 12 months ago which exposed the scale of child rape, trafficking and grooming in the South Yorkshire town. Professor Alexis Jay’s report described how more than 1,400 children were sexually exploited by gangs of mainly Asian males in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013.
It was also scathing about a culture among police and council officials which ignored the industrial scale of abuse, instead treating the victims of sexual exploitation as troublesome teenagers.
Investigators have now served misconduct notices on 27 officers to advise their specific actions are under investigation. In total 41 misconduct notices have been served, as some officers have received multiple notices as they are involved in more than one complaint. Of those served with notices so far, seven are retired.
A spokeswoman confirmed this is an ongoing process as investigative and analytical work continues. She said:
“Analysis of all the referrals has so far identified more than 60 officers.
“Further assessments are being carried out to establish the specific allegations against these individuals to determine what further actions are needed. Work is ongoing to identify more than 100 officers who are referenced in the referrals but are unnamed.”

The police watchdog is examining almost 200 Rotherham officers after corrupt police, one related to the convicted groomers, allegedly conspired to protect the Muslim child sex gang.
One officer and local politician, who is a family relative of the brothers convicted yesterday, is alleged to have brokered a deal whereby one brother was given assurance that he “wouldn’t get done” if he returned one his young victims to a police station.
Another is accused of having sex with an under-age girls, passing drugs to the grooming gang and tipping them off when colleagues were searching for missing children, a court was told.
During the trial, one woman who spent three days describing how she was repeatedly abused and assaulted from the age of 11, told the jury how she told a detective called Kenneth Dawes about what happened but no action was taken.
“He used to have sex with girls and he used to take drugs from people and pass them on to Ash”, the girl said.
Jahangir Akhtar, the former deputy leader of Rotherham council and deputy chairman of South Yorkshire police, is one of several alleged to have taken part in the handover. He is also a relative of Arshid, Basharat and Bannaras Hussain.
The three brothers were found guilty yesterday of multiple sexual offences against underage girls over a twenty years period in Rotherham, a town they were said to “own” thanks to their criminal and police connections.
As their trial ended yesterday, it was revealed that the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) had begun 55 investigations into alleged police misconduct linked to Rotherham child sex crimes. It has received complaints against 92 named officers, the Yorkshire Post reports.
Several other horric accounts of abuse were heard during the trail, with some of the women citing a lack of trust in the police as why they went to the media to tell their stories, before the the authorities.
“The only reason the police started this investigation was because The Times printed my story”, said one.
IPCC deputy chair Rachel Cerfontyne said: “Our investigative work examining allegations about how South Yorkshire Police responded to reported child sexual exploitation in Rotherham continues to expand.
“This is complex work dealing with non-recent allegations and involving vulnerable and traumatised victims. We are committed to ensuring the allegations are investigated sensitively and thoroughly.”

I would say very apt.
I recall saying at the time that the whole rotten police force in Rotherham and surrounding area should have been locked down immediately this story broke. Everything seized and analysed. A temporary force should have been put in place.
What chance now of multiple arrests and prosecutions of serving officers?

Rotherham Police have promised to increase patrols as they are concerned about potential “Islamophobic attacks” after three Muslim men were convicted of grooming underage girls this week.

The judge said the brothers were well-known in the area, driving distinctive cars and having a reputation for violence.
Well Im not from Rotherham but Im not that far away and I know the 'faces' of the area and Ive never heard of em.
They wernt gangsters. They might have been involved in curry house squabbles but that aint the same.
As for the crux of the case; Ive heard through women ive come in contact with over the years that this had/has happened but Ive never witnessed it personally (rather, Ive never known an individual who accused others of coercion)
My conclusion of this turgid affair is that those perpetrators are nothing in the grand scheme of things, they arnt even known. The individuals they used as prey seemed to me to be vulnerable low hanging fruit.
I dont believe the system is necessarily wrong; we shouldn't assume guilt by the origin of our ancestors, but nor should we be influenced by those who arnt exposed to the damage done.

Yorkshire police and Labour councillors thought their were no crimes committed but people have been sentenced for 35 years and 25 years, disgraceful scenes.
Have the British Left exonerated the rapists yet and put the full blame on the two white women convicted for their part?
