My mum was widowed at 47, brought 2 youngsters up and did 2 jobs totalling 50 hours a week. Lazy feckers these days.

Kids shouldn`t be dropped off at child careers 8-6 monday to friday. That`s just not natural.

Well she had no choice but to work. She's walk me to school, go to work and then pick me up from nursery and go to her bar-maiding job in the evening. They have it easy these days.

Actually - my mother worked too  Kennymann - not only looking after me and my two sisters and two brothers after my father had found a younger model.  She worked as a cook in a school and was always home when we got up with breakfast on the table and was there with an evening meal when we got home - obviously she was there for us during school holidays,  always.  She was kicked out with £7 in her bank account when I was 11 years of age.

£7 was a lot of money in 1930 Dewey.
