Same here, congratulations from them, too, as if I'd won a gold medal at the commonwealth games (not Olympics to be fair to them).
Might uninstall because they've irritated me with their false praise. But if I uninstall it?? World ends? |

Don't install any Java 'updates' from popups, go to the java site to check you have the latest version. Run malwarebytes, I would imagine you'll have malware installed by a website, I checked my old mans yesterday as he was getting these, there were four trojans to be removed.

i definitely dont have any malware or viruses or owt and i still get the bloody java update thing near enough every day. it drives me frickin insane. i get the flash player update every week it seems as well, they must be on version 2 billion by now.

If you have ccleaner or suchlike go to startup options and turn off java updater SunJavaUpdateSched

I keep getting them too , though pop ups do seem from the original Java site , unless you'r on a dodgy movie site where you should close very pop up
Thing is you go to download & it tells me i already have the latest version installed , very annoying ![]() |

The problem is usually an old version that hasn't been deleted properly. So go to the java site to see what the current version is and look at control panel/programs and see what is there.
