If you want to double-check that it is 'activated' you can login to your Sky account and there is a tick box somewhere in there that indicates whether your package has it activated yet or not.

Just checked and this time last year i was paying £91 a month for my package (all sky sports, multi -room hd, broadband and skytalk.Gave them a call and threatened to leave and eventually got it down to my present monthly bill of £61.This deal runs out in Sept and  i'm  not prepared to pay anymore.If they don't keep it at around the £61 mark then i'm off..they can stuff it.

I think they are getting wise to folk trying to get concessions by threatening to cancel. I tried it a few weeks ago and they offered me 25% off for 1 year. I told them to stuff it.

More great news for sky subscribers, from tomorrow, Sky Sports News HQ will launch on Sky channel 401, providing viewers with an unrivalled sports news service plus a showcase of other content on the Sky Sports channels. Other Sky Sports channels will move one slot up the Sky digital EPG.

Sky sports 1 on channel number 402, how cool is that.
