Tried plugging into your test phone socket?

working fine for me themightymac. knock and have a beer some time.

what network you with , mine is the same have to re-connect quite a lot and runs slow at times , talktalk here

Same here chaser. They are useless. Use proxy servers. Is your phone crackling all the time too?

if you phone them up for anything also they cant understand ,think they are indians or something

Not your handset chaser, I have the same problem with same provider. Need to get rid of them.

i phone up when my internet was down before , and the guys saying check your router is plugged in and all that sh1t yeah mate i think i know how to connect the fkcing router

Yeah, unbelievable. What annoys me is they always say, connect your computer with the yellow ethernet cable. It`s a pc I have and it`s based in the library, about half a mile form the wi-fi router. Got to disconnect it and take it to the router.

depends on what socket you've got, an old one would be different.  I had to have BT out last year as the master socket had been affected by damp and the wires had corroded inside(same problems as you).  The guy was great and re-wired from the top of the house and it was sorted.

Thinking of getting that new system where ones internet connects via satellite. Anybody any experience of it?
