Why do I seem to need about 8 cables in order for this to work?
Looking at my cables there are:
There are 2 HD Cables coming externally from the dish
Scart Lead from TV
HDMI Lead from TV
Internet Cable from Router
Aerial Cable from external Aerial
Aerial Cable to TV
Some other cable between TV and Box that I have no idea what it does (looks like a small ethernet type cable?)
I can't even begin to work out how to connect my DVD Player to either TV or HD Box but never use it, so just sits there
All in all it's just a cable nightmare back there, are they all necessary?

1/ remove scart lead if you have hd pictures as thats hdmi (thats 1 cable less)
2/internet cable can be removed if you get a wireless adaptor from sky (thats 2 cables less)
3/ remover aerial cable, whats the point in watching via tv aerial, all channels on sky (thats 3 cables less or 4 as youve counted it twice)
4/ dont know what other cable is between box and tv audio maybe if you have sound bar etc?
All you need is the 2 cables from dish to box, and hdmi cable from box to tv. If you get a wirless adaptor then small cable from that to box. Jobs a goodun.
Where do i send the invoice too?

Removed Scart Lead - will try use this for the DVD Player
The small ethernet cable is the telephone wire, assume not needed now hard wired to router (will look into wireless)
Aerial Cables - might need one to TV for when SKY is down like earlier when thunderstorm but will wire straight to TV

Seems when updated to BT Infinity they didnt tell me or I didn't realise that didn't need telephone 'filter' to the new box they installed which was also where telephone line went to SKY box
