Most modern US sitcoms are rubbish imo, Two and a half men and something on every day about these two couples living in New York....third-rate stuff just written for gags with no emotional depth to them. By far the best of the lot in recent times is Parks and Recreation, an under-rated little gem

I know, they try to score some chicks and then don't and then they just end up eating nachos and watching rock videos. A bit more variety would be good.

M*A*S*H was not far behind Curb ,and also had emotional depth ,unlike most comedies the .The British version,without the audience laughter track being dubbed on , was 20 times better than the U S version.
