No probably not, at least since Seinfeld anyway, Larry David is a comic genius, the Seinfeld reunion episodes on Curb were brave and outrageously clever.
Most modern US sitcoms are rubbish imo, Two and a half men and something on every day about these two couples living in New York....third-rate stuff just written for gags with no emotional depth to them. By far the best of the lot in recent times is Parks and Recreation, an under-rated little gem

Alongside Curb your Enthusiasm, the recent British stuff - Miranda etc. just looks pathetic.
The wife would get it, even with those 'cheese grater' teeth
All seems a bit predictable to me, once you seen one episode you've seen em all.
Curb is very good. The office was better. So was in inbetweeners.
hasn't been on telly for 2 - 3 years now, since More 4 used to show it.
CYE is brilliant. Larry David is very clever. I've always thought Frasier was a long running consistently high standard series too.
Facts, you should try Beavis and Butthead. I think it would be right up your street.
I think it's a good show but the socially awkward/aloof situations become a bit predictable and repetitive after a while.
I know, they try to score some chicks and then don't and then they just end up eating nachos and watching rock videos. A bit more variety would be good.

M*A*S*H was not far behind Curb ,and also had emotional depth ,unlike most comedies the .The British version,without
the audience laughter track being dubbed on , was 20 times better than the U S version.

The alan partridge series is probably as good if not better as non of any of the episodes in any of the series are not equally as good...
