I expect reviews will say it's not as good as the first movie, it's not as good as the tv show. Think you should go and see it before reading reviews.

Maybe they should put that on the posters.

I'd recommend that for all films. I try to avoid knowing even the title. Start time is plenty info.

Was in London with my sister a couple of years ago and there was a poster on the tube station for Salmon Fishing In The Yemen.

"That's a weird film title" I sai. "Wonder if it is any good?"
"It's really good apparently" she said.
"Oh?" I replied "Who told you that?"
"It says so on that poster" she replied.

Very rare to get a sequel to a spin off from a tv comedy... I think the last one was Mutiny on the Buses. Doesn't augur well.

Sex And The City 2 also disappointing.

take it for what it is....If you like the characters, you will like it...if you liked the tv series and the first film, you will probably smile. If you want an oscar winner, don't bother.

The series was very funny, the catwalk scene hilarious. Found the first film poor

seems that this may be a bridge too far, although tbh, it started to tail off during series 3. not that it makes any of the good stuff that came before it any worse.

i'm not a massive fan of gervais, in particular i think derek is a load of second rate, clumsy, mawkish shlock, but i have immense respect for him that that he didn't jump the shark with the office.

takes a lot of balls given it was his first big project.

He managed to sell the Office to the US though, where they did a version. So probably made a few bucks for that!

although with embarrassingly impeccable timing, in the last 24 hours it's been announced that there's going to be an office spin off movie with gervais playing brent.
