How many sneezes in a sitting?

They are related to moths but evolved in into none physical beings....you may call them spirits.

I can easily do 12 in a row as I get hayfever when walking the mutt in the park, I feel completely drained afterwards. There's no joy in multiple sneezing.

Well at least you have hay fever as an excuse, anyone doing 12 sneezes for a non-medical reason should probably be sectioned.

I can only do 3 in a row, when I've done my 3rd  I think - that's it all done.

Wonder if anyone's ever crashed their car because they've sneezed, I'll google and report back.

The passenger in a car died when the driver sneezed and crashed into a tree off a Maryland highway.

Brian David Evans was driving near Salisbury, Maryland when he had a sneezing attack.

During the sudden attack, he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and crashed into an oak tree on the side of the highway.

Both Evans, 37, and his passenger, William Michael Brittingham were taken to a local hospital.

The two men were taken to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center at 1.30pm Monday afternoon, where Evans was told that he had sustained six broken ribs, while Mr Brittingham was pronounced dead.

Maryland State Police trooper Brian Kulig said that Mr Brittingham is a husband and father.

Evans was headed East on Route 50 through Maryland, though their intended destination remains unknown.

Evans told police that he  'sometimes has sneezing attacks' due to allergic reactions.


This is not the first time that something so seemingly innocent as a sneeze has caused a serious car crash.

Similar accidents have been reported recently in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania, and New Hartford, New York, though neither of those incidents ended lead to fatalities.

Usually only One sneeze for me.

Rarely two.

Yes sorry Makybe but I've often wondered if sneezing can cause accidents, when I'm driving and 3 sneezes come alone then I'm not in control of my car for about a  second.

I'm with slippy.Easily up to 12.I can't remember the last time I had a 1 or 2.

same as Slippy again - multiple sneezing when the pollen's high until a clarityn tablet kicks in. Otherwise in normal circumstances one, maybe two at the most.

16 is the most, my son keeps record. I was emptying out the cylinder on the hoover, dust generally sets it off and then for the next few days my body defence system kicks in and i am having lots of sneezing fits. Then it all calms down again.

I kind of enjoy the sensation.

I've also been intrigued by the photic sneeze reflex - I used to go to school with some kid who would use it as a party trick.

stick a toothpick up your nose...then you can sneeze to your hearts content.

1 or 2 at the most and that's rare, but if I get to 4 or 5 Mrs CMAT gets out the Beechams powders as she knows I have a cold coming.

Hay fever - I only know one smoker who gets hay fever, so take up smoking and get rid of it.

Seven sneezes in a row, regularly.  Bright sunlight and black pepper kicks 'em off.

Seven or eight no problem.  Love the feeling after.  Biting into the outer shell of chewing gum sets me off and if I can feel a batch in there somewhere, running my fingernail across my forehead/eyebrow does the trick.
