Northern Lights - Scandinavia or Iceland ?

done Iceland but just an ok for me.
did Lapland and that has the wow factor,possible northern lights ,husky mushing,snow mobiling in the dark,ice fishing ,the whole experience was just wow.

went on a 5 day package tour with transun.there are a few different companys that do these.build your own package really.
we went the first week in December minus 25-30.you can even tailor in the ice hotel with some firms but I don't think that is open until around mid jan ish.we paid about £850 each.

I THINK THE M5 SHOULD HAVE LIGHTS LIKE BLACKPOOL TO KEEP THE MOTORISTS HAPPY WHILE THEY QUE LIKE THEY DO ON BLACKPOOL FRONT WHEN THEIR BUSY

THE ONLY TROUBLE WITH BLACKPOOL IS THAT WHEN YOU GO IN THE TOWER BALLROOM THERES LOTS OF OLD LADY LESBIANS DANCING TOGETHER TO A MAN ON AN ORGAN PLAYING I DO LIKE TO BE BESIDE THE SEASIDE

I've not been to either but recall being told by a travel writer that Iceland is the nearest thing on Earth to an alien planet, owing to its volcanic origins, so if geology floats your boat ...
