I would be very careful of awarding the Cup to Germany already.
Aregentina's scores this world cup: 2-1 v Bosnia 1-0 v Iran 3-2 v Nigeria 1-0 v Switzerland 1-0 v Belgium 0-0 v Holland Aside from the Nigeria game, they are just grinding it out and nullifying the opposition. It isn't nice to watch, but they neutralise and then wait for their chance to sting. A team with attacking options like Van Persie, Robben and Sneider and they barely had a sniff all night. Don't take Germany's Brazil form literally - it as a freak result that if it was a horse race you would put a line through. I think Argentina will win. No European team has ever won a World Cup in South America, it has always remained at home, and having seen off three European teams in the knockout phase without conceding, despite Germany's form looking much stronger I see Argentina grinding it out. However, I will be wanting (cheering isn't the right word - I couldn't cheer either of these two) Germany to win. |

Do the argies get to keep the trophy ( third win ) if they win it Sunday, I hope not.
What's ironic is Brazil got to keep it 40 years after the first year it was played for & now its 40 years after the second trophy was first played for, a coincidence I cannot ignore, I hope I'm wrong. |

correct and that was my reason for not backing the jerry's at the start of the comp.(a whole £5 bit for me) But these days players are a lot fitter and have better diets than 40 years ago But as the say the Argies have nullified the attacks against them but most have been reliant on one man RVP(possable illness last night) personally think been poor along with Sneider (not been playing top class footy). Belguim are a team of individuals.and the Swiss a good hard working bunch of players The Jerry's have no real stars(see nike advert)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XviR7esUvo    i will go for the Jerry's if as in the past they make Messi a bystander think we will know after 15/20 mins. |
