I've only played the Scoop 6 once, C-C, when it first started. I think I was out in the first race - and that was good enough for me to never bother with it again!

personally I hate the Scoop 6 destroyed the tote jackpot which I last won when the Sporting Life was in existence. Tote Jackpot pool every day now isn't there. Scoop 6 on Saturdays only? |

also the Scoop 6 is £2 a ticket W Hill and others used to take perms of 10p ... as did the tote I was one of only 2 winners of a pool of around £242,670 |

was with a local bookie well known by Sarf Londoners but it went into the pool - Huntingdon, January 29% deduction for the tote I won £15,632 or thereabouts ... I could tell you exactly if I dig out my scrapbook didn't bet for months afterwards .. almost the next bet was at Bath racecourse where I won over £2700 on a similarly large j/pot Eddie Butler the rugby commentator and former Welsh rugby captain was there and I'm afraid to say I embarrassed myself by telling him 'I've won the jackpot and I'm Welsh'  |
