That's Mrs CMAT and her lucky pin, Tommy.
Of course, she hasn't paid for it yet, but if she wins over 3 figures with the place part, there's an excellent chance that I'll get the £2 later.

Scoop6 win pool not to be won went as high as 6.6 this morning.
I figured there would be syndicates out in force today, so I left it alone.
Last price matched was 2.34

I got that web address from somebody on the horse racing forum, when the Betfair toteboard window wasn't working.

After Bronze Angel didn't respond to the whip, Hayley Turner gave up half a furlong from home and stood up in the saddle. A bit of two handed pushing may have kept her in the frame.
Another £2 I'll never see...

The maximum who can still be in it after the next race is 63, with three horses having one ticket only on them.

Another £2 I'll never see... Laugh

I don't know why I found this so funny

perhaps it's the idea of £2 coins floating around out of call me a taxi's sight

personally I hate the Scoop 6

destroyed the tote jackpot which I last won when the Sporting Life was in existence.

Sorry, two horses in the next with only one ticket on them - the other '1' is on the unamed favourite.

I've only played the Scoop 6 once, C-C, when it first started. I think I was out in the first race - and that was good enough for me to never bother with it again!

3 units left going onto leg 6.
By:

When: 17 May 14 15:40
but before the Scoop 6 there was only one place to go for the big pools which hadn't been won

also the Scoop 6 is £2 a ticket

W Hill and others used to take perms of 10p ... as did the tote

I was one of only 2 winners of a pool of around £242,670

No. 13 - 20/1

I'd be phoning everybody I knew and laying my horse.

... they won it for a pound ... I won it for 10p

was with a local bookie well known by Sarf Londoners but it went into the pool - Huntingdon, January

29% deduction for the tote

I won £15,632 or thereabouts ... I could tell you exactly if I dig out my scrapbook

didn't bet for months afterwards .. almost the next bet was at Bath racecourse where I won over £2700 on a similarly large j/pot

Eddie Butler the rugby commentator and former Welsh rugby captain was there and I'm afraid to say I embarrassed myself by telling him 'I've won the jackpot and I'm Welsh' Grin

The three units left were all single lines from Joe Public betting shop punters as well and not a syndicate, absolutely heartbreaking Sad

The person with that ticket, if he/she had any sense, would have layed lumps of odds on with a furlong to go.
By:

When: 17 May 14 16:09
The bookie reckons it was 3 betting shop punters left on each of the tickets.

How sick must two of them be to finish second and third?

Still, at least they'll pick up a share of the place money - unlike the poor punter on Justonefortheroad.

327,600 line perm and I get to leg 6 with one horse, that I can lay.
