Nothing ironic here tobermory.  Have watched this programme all my life and think this is one of the best stories ever, especially with all this drugs stuff which they have cleverly brought in without having to show them using after they got a lot of sh1t for the phil mitchell cokedown.

I watched it when it started , and for about the first 2 and a half years it was on . I watched a few of the soaps at the time . Stopped with them around the same time when i was 15 . IMO they are essentially children's TV with their simplistic ,predictable , moralizing storylines  . Some people just don't get out of the habit of watching is all i can think

The who lives where thing was one of the comical things that made me realize just how shyte UK soaps are .

What typically happens is you have a husband and wife character double act and 90% of their scenes/dialogue are with each other .Then, one of them leaves because the actor wants 'to avoid being typecast' and fancies a crack at Hollywood (then maybe gets 3 episodes of The Bill ) , and so the remaining character now has no one to talk to . So the writers will - just randomly -  take another member of the cast who will then have an affair with the person and move in with them , despite their having nothing whatever in common , just so they can still have lots of scenes shouting at each other etc .

That happened in Brookside after the actress who played Billy Corkhill's wife left at about the same time as Ricky Tomlinson quit . Billy C and Sheila Grant were important characters who were now stuck at home with no one to talk to . So instead of realistically showing scenes of each of them sat at home alone watching Going For Gold they had to fall in love ffs just so they could both have some  dialogue. Also Barry Grant must have lived on almost every house in the street at one time or another , again because the writers priority was to keep the well known characters chatting to each other so any old pretext would be dreamt up for him to move in with someone .

Max seemed to say at the end there"whitney knows you killed Lucy". But it was slightly slurred, to Aby.  I am not sure the producers defo know yet, think they have come up with a way of making it so that they can decide on the night.  Theory doing the rounds recently is that Bobby killed her by accident and Jane helped him move the body and possibky Max and Aby helped too,.  Idk proper can't wait to find out mind.

An EastEnders spokesman insisted Max got his lines right and said the wording in the script said: “She knows that you killed Lucy”, meaning he only added the word ‘whether’.

"Lucy was killed in her home" was a decent enough clue tonight. Someone with the means and opportunity to have murdered her and then concealed and carried her body to the woodland where it was found. Suggests an accomplice if one of the non-driving suspects is responsible.

Can't buy Bobby being involved. Surely a rare event for a younger sibling to accidentally (or otherwise) murder one so much older.
