Probably something from eraserhead? I saw a scene at the cinema this weekend that just about tops the lot of them...the beach scene from "under the skin"...absolutely heartbreaking. |

Also, the final scene in the Vanishing (Le Sporloos) Sonny getting shot down in Godfather Kes (being killed) Sophies Choice (where she had to choose her daughter to be killed) Schindlers List - either the scene where everyone gets shot apart from the guilty convict, or the shooting at prisoners from the Watchtower Probably one from the Omen (the one where his mates head is cut off) Deer Hunter - Russian Roulette scene NAP Cuckoos Nest where he is lobotomised Possibly Bonds missus getting killed in OHMSS Not seen them but the Champ and Shane both have sad endings so could be in there |

a lot of the above are very memorable, but I wouldn't class them as particularly disturbing
