Yes well I got stabbed and nearly died but didn't.
I was asked by the probation service if I would object to the guy coming back to the same town after his release - I could have stopped him. I knew he had a son and though he did not live with him & the child's mother, on those grounds I couldn't object. Though I moved to another part of town, one day after three and a half years the doorbell rang and when I answered it was him. He said sorry for stabbing me, thanked me for not preventing him coming home and said he would never call again, which he didn't. |
