Big value George O'Dowd used to Box as a kid, mind you giving away a few years now.

Judo a different George O'Dowd, this is Boy George real name. I didn't realise there was also a Boxer of this name, but Boy George did Box as a kid.

Can't find anything about Boy George boxing, only the fact that his dad was a boxing club manager. I also thought he'd boxed, but you'd expect Google to come up with something.

Stop talking sh1t Judo, he was the `pink` sheep of the family from an early age.

You probably heard about him being battered around the ring! high class amateur my arse!Tongue Out

Saw an interview with George where he said his old man forced him in to it, because of it wasn't worried about Gay bashing.

Have they been calling each other names on twitter or something?

Barton would be giving away about 8 inches in height and 8 stone in weight. George is a monster. He also looks like he has issues that he'd like to work out

Result: George by 1st minute KO

David Bowie: Are you a boxing fan, George?

Boy George: Not really.

David Bowie: So you won't be watching the Lennox fight then.

Boy George: My dad was a boxing trainer and we had it forced on us through childhood, as you can see I resisted rather skilfully.

Boy George: My brother was a professional boxer for a time.

David Bowie: But I bet you can still deliver a pretty lethal haymaker if pushed.

Boy George: When I drink, certainly - I become very Woolwich and that scares me.

Sounds like a high class amateur to me Judo you thick coont!LaughLaugh

I wouldn't be surprised if George fought behind a ramrod left jab, utilizing his reach

He had pretty decent footwork for a big man from what I recall of his Karma Chameleon video

if Barton's still got his mullet and Movember moustache, he could be experiencing some pain in the ring by the time George has finished with him.

For what it's worth, I distinctly remember reading somewhere that Boy George did used to box. And I'm pretty sure I've heard Boy George himself mention it in interviews.

This was quite a few years ago, and I remember thinking at the time that behind all the make-up he did seem like he could be a bit of a hard nut.

Do you and Judo share the same toothbrush as well as watch the same interviews? Judo got his george o`dowds mixed up and just can`t bring himself to put his hand up! You both seem too close for comfort. Dual accounts is it?

Angel, I am guessing this is another George O'Dowd being as Boy George was born in England to parents who were both born in the Republic of Ireland.

Mr Makybe used to box. His dad was a boxing coach and sparring partner of a very well known boxer. So Mr Makybe knows a thing or two about boxing.

I've just been upstairs and said to Mr Makybe, who is in bed trying to get to sleep..  "Remember Boy George from Culture Club? Did he used to box?"

He replied "Yes, he did. He was a big lad"
