Got to agree with artie on this one, at least it is an attempt at comedy instead of the boring panel humour that struggles to raise a laugh.

If Jigsaw had me chained up in a room and to be freed I had to watch back to back episodes for 24 hours of Russell Howard's Good News or Citizen Khan (possibly his most vile and evil scenario yet...and he's even removed the saw so you can't even hack yourself to death...) I would watch Citizen Khan.

Just seen the trailer. For the third series it looks like they are trying to turn it into some sort of comedy.

Why, if it's filmed In front of a live audience, is it broadcast with canned laughter ?

The canned laughter department at the BBC is strong and heavily unionised. That is why you find that they provide the laughter to all BBC comedy's.

The canned laughter is very important. How else is anyone to know when the jokes happen? Crazy
