I dont roll up my turds in newspaper and keep em or owt
I only buy stuff not collect rubbish, i tend to give stuff away for next to nowt when bored with em.
Ive been very lucky in the innovation field so can get my little toys to play with, it generally inspires me to bring my own things out which then finance the next wave
I do have a guilty conscience though about the fact that I perpetuate the horrid consumerism that exists where people push crap with ever decreasing product life cycles and lots of waste

dont need venture capitalist nowadays, those maggots are out of a job in future.
Source funding will meet the equilibrium  for products, will be perfect efficiency and break the power hold people with money have over others (within product development anyway)

Ive just been in the kitchen liam to see what wattage my kenwood blender is and its upto 900 watts, that bullet thing is just a blender but using a selling factor of just 600 wattsIm pretty sure everyone has a blender in their kitchen thats as strong or stronger than that. Its just another product trying to get ppl to spend money on it imo

im no scientist, so I don't know exactly how it works but it does make the drink into a smoothie, whereas your blender will just make it all mushy, its nothing like a blender, in how the the drink is.

I don't know if they are referred to as blenders or food processors tbh, it's just all marketing.
This bullet is identical to one of the parts of general food processors (the blender) only that the motor on the bullet is less powerful.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, just that it's only a blender marketed as a smoothie maker /juicer as far as I can see. The mechanism is exactly the same, centrifugal force and as they say 'cyclonic action'
The shape of the screw in jar where the fruit goes is just a longer version of a grinder mill that comes with food processors.

If I'm honest they have a bit of a cheek considering with food processors you get loads more stuff and more power for about the same price.
However, the point is you are happy using it so continue to enjoy it, just I'd guess most ppl have what that is if they own a processor.

It's much like when companies use rhetoric like contains 'such and such technology' or something like that.
Most times it's just guff marketing tactics to sound better than the competition.

This is my juicer

I've had it for about 5 years and it's still going strong.

I think the pulp could be a bit drier but it dues a good job and is really easy to clean.

I always put a plastic bag in the pulp chamber so that saves a lot of mess.

I then rinse all other removable bits under the tap then wash them up. They would go in a dishwasher if you've got one.

I nearly always add a couple of apples to my juice to sweeten it, and a bit of lemon and ginger.

Yummy Happy

Yeah that's a conventional juicer, a machine that separates juice from pulp like the jack lalanne
It is messy and when you think about it you are actually throwing the best bit away.
With the blender you get the whole goodness but end up with a thicker smoothie.

I think the smoothie has gained in popularity in recent times with the advent of innocent and the acceptance that the peel etc contains most of the good stuff.

Its a bit gloopy tho

There's a recipe book with the jack L that recommends using the pulp for cooking, something I'm too cool to partake in ofc.
I just get the pulp everywhere and after washing the juicer so many times the silver paint has all pealed off making it look tatty

I was into making a lot of green smoothies for a while.

I bought this book

It's a very good read.

But I prefer the concentrated hit you can only get from juices.

Yes, you need the fibre too but I eat plenty of whole fruits and veggies for that.

One smoothie I love is spinach and banana.

I chuck a bag of spinach leaves, a couple of bananas and some rice drink in the blender.

It really is delicious. I sometimes add some hemp oil from the Good Oil company Love and some grated creamed coconut.

Well, inspired by this thread I have just had a go with the kenwood blender with what was left in the fridge.
1 lemon
2 carrots
Handful of blackberrys
Actimel
Scoup of strawberry protein powder
Couple of handfuls of spinach.

To try and describe the taste.....I have never actually tasted emulsion, but I imagine it to be a bit like this.
Though strangely it's not that bad...a bit like PVA glue is surprisingly not un edible.

I hear what you are saying and I have no idea why but the results are nothing like a blender, if I made the same drink in a blender I would not be able to drink it

look at the morons sat around the table ffs all smiling on script, surprised they wernt 'whoop whooping usa usa' like at an apple conference.

that was a s hite blender using a jug
good blenders come with grinder mills, they are the same shape as the bullet

but either way if its making your eyes sparkle and your coat glossy liam keep using it Cool

The blenders and mass produced blenders are rubbish , but they will squeeze our a fraction of the juice that a [roper juicer does/

And yes they can cure a multitude of problems , i never would of believed it till had been using one for a month , the results have been extraordinary

I got a Nutribullet for Xmas and it is just a blender. I have a fruit smoothie everyday and mine was leaking so someone got me the Nutribullet.

Very disappointed. Can't see any advantage over my food processor at all.
