An all Pakistani Muslim group of men groom, traffic and rape a group of all young white Caucasian girls. The Police say there was not a racial element to this hideous crime.

soz to be a wet blanket but - I can see how it is correct to say this crime wasn't racially motivated : the motivation was to obtain girls they could control and abuse. The means to this end was indeed white girls, but if they had found suitably receptive girls in say, the Chinese community then they would have taken these girls instead.

No mention of it on ITV news this evening !! Was reported on BBC radio 5 today though.
Local plod were most worried about the effect on the reputation of the local muslim community. No mention of the victims. Don't know where, when or how, but this country is gonna blow one day. |

Race was a massive issue in this and other similar cases.
Among many of the Pakistani male community, white girls are considered second class citizens and therefore fair game. It won't be addressed for some time as it's not PC to say racism can be the 'other way'. All very predictable and of course very sad.. At some point we may have a mature debate about racism but I won't hold my breath. |

Desperate - you must surely realise the cultural differences between 'us' and 'them'.

This is the same as the asians who murdered a white boy in Newham a few years ago.
It was a case of mistaken identity (all whites must look the same to asians) over the theft of a mobile phone. If an asian had nicked it he'd have got a slap or two, but this youth was white, so he got stabbed to death for it, by a gang as large as 8 members. It was NEVER classed as a racist murder, even though at first, in a highly populated asian area, he was murdered in a shop doorway in the high street, on a sunny Saturday afternoon, and nobody saw a thing. Shopkeepers and witnesses were intimidated by the gang, but in the end sowebody spoke up, and they wee nicked for it. But it wasn't racist. Like fack it wasn't. |
