Not normally a fan of old threads being revived but found this thread very entertaining. I came across it purely by chance when googling "Why aren't fish and chips shops open on Sundays". This was the second link displayed. I felt a certain sense of pride that font of all knowledge was in front of my very eyes!

Our left overs from the Sunday roast would last about 3 days ! Monday would be something like cold meat and chips, Tuesday would be a stew or something, Wednesday would be a pasty or Cottage Pie...... and then the dog would get the bone !! |
