Roy Kinnear

On 19 September 1988, Kinnear fell from a horse during the making of The Return of the Musketeers in Toledo, Spain, and sustained a broken pelvis. He was taken to hospital in Madrid but died from a heart attack the next day. He was 54 years old. He is buried in East Sheen Cemetery.

After his death, Kinnear's family demanded an official investigation into the level of medical care he had received in Spain. Director Richard Lester decided to quit the film business as a direct result of Kinnear's death

I didn't know that until today, although I did know he died from a heart attack. Great actor and son Rory is doing well

If you drilled a tunnel straight through the Earth and jumped in, it would take you exactly 42 minutes and 12 seconds to get to the other side.

^^^ Earth is elliptical shirley.
Arctic to Antarctic is a shorter distance than drilling anywhere on the equator to the other side.

Surely, you wouldn't REACH the other side. Once past halfway, you'd would be trying to fall against Gravity. You would finally come to rest at the centre after a few 'ups and downs'. Or 'downs and ups' if you like! Happy

Film: The Adjustment Bureau.

Romance meets sci-fi as forces (sometimes known as angels) conspire under order from 'The Chairman'(god) to keep two lovers apart.

The final scene of the film was to show the first appearance of 'The Chairman' meeting with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.

'The Chairman' was to be female and played by Iranian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo.

The studio discovered that she was born a muslim, but they weren't ready for a muslim to portray 'god'

The part was scrapped and the script was changed.

Zugunruhe is the restlessness of caged birds in the migration season.

Urban birds have learned to line their nests with cigarette ends. Nicotine is a powerful insecticide that wards off mites, lice and fleas.

The nectar of citrus plants contains caffeine to attract birds.

David Cameron, used to be President of the Oxfordshire Bee Keepers Association. Probably did a better job of that then being PM.
