People with far worse illnesses King thats the way I see it, though when an aggressive flare up happens it does screw u up a bit. My mantra is I have Crohn's but won't let it have me.

Was also on mercaptopurine for a while which is a tablet form of chemotheraphy.

Osteoporosis is direct result of so many steroids in 18 years destroying the bones.

Steroids helping with weight gain - hope to be up to 8 stone by Xmas.

Nothing on a daily basis, but I do suffer from frequent migraines during which I'll take anything I can lay my hands on.

Good luck to you solway mate, you've got the right attitude and that's the crux as far as I'm concerned.  I had it bad when I was in my late teens, been through a lot of surgery, but been good for years now.  Wish you all the best.

Gosh, what a collective shocking state we are all in!

Burton B..... if you do read the notes on the leaflets, or on line, you might well elect to stick with your condition as is,
rather than risk the hideous potential side effects, of which there are very many, even down to 'one in xxxxxxx' fatalities
and crazily, that the drug prescribed for your condition can actually be a cause of it!
