History Maker, this is Stoke - where an onion is a bleedin' onion!
Even the most pretentious pillock going wouldn't dare to call him/herself 'Ohniyon' here, unless they wanted to be laughed out of town. The teacher was a southerner. Perhaps she too was new to the school and didn't realise what a berk she was making of herself (which Lynn unfortunately also caught the flack from). Thinking about it: I can't remember seeing that teacher again. Perhaps she did us all a favour and went back to the land of Ohniyons. Dr Crippen, perhaps your Pratt was the same as the one I met. I wouldn't be surprised if he had the whole of the Midlands wrapped up by now. He was a top frog in contract law - and charged accordingly. |

And she used to, quite willingly. I'm pretty sure there used to be a jockey called this. I don't follow racing like I used to, but I'm pretty sure there was a jumps jockey called Malcolm Bas tard in the 80's, who often used to ride for a trainer called Sly. When they had a winner it was a Sly Bas tard combination. Or did I make this up? |
