Great stuff mate, so pleased he returned home safely...was it the regiment on telly that recruits mainly from the north of England?
By:
Good man. Excellent stuff. I can only guess how emotional it must have been.
By:
yes thats the 1 topshot,as for the lad who didnt come home his dad and sisters were present,i couldnt wish that emotion to anyone
By:
It must be tough for you to show your true emotions at a time when another family is in turmoil
By:
As an aside I was in the royal Marines and was honoured to be part of the first non Scottish regiment to do the Edinburgh castle guard
By:
its heartbreaking, topshot we are all happy that our sons returned safe, yet inside my heart weeps for his family.he must have been a top lad only young and already an officer.
By:
Good man PDC and I'm sure the award was richly-deserved.
By:

I was lucky when I joined up, the world seemed a much safer place than it is now, so I really admire our young men (and girls) who join up knowing they are almost certainly going to war

By:

iMO he should stay in for a couple of years and take the easy money he no doubt deserves after doing two tours, if he can hack the boredom
Not a good idea chasing the big bucks abroad, puts the families thru the same. Hell PDC. Has just been thru. |

By:
top post, respect to all of our brave men and women fighting for our country. Always remembered those who have so sadly lost their lives WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
