yes all those that Jim couldn't fix it for will be sitting there gobbing at their tv tonight.

Why is there now a programme about this ? I have seen and read enough internet comment the last three days to fully make my mind up, in an even-handed and rational fashion.
telly prog seems unneccesary. |
By:
just kidding - before some worthy points out it is the telly prog which started the comment

Could be the biggest TV programme in chit chat history surpassing Celebrity Masterchef 2009 final and the Queen Mother's funeral
By:
They could have put it on a bit

... earlier. I'll probably nod off before the end unless Jimbo was a rampaging nonce
By:
I dunno which camp i'm in,but a few well paid tubby housewives saying "they wish theyd come out earlier" is hardly compelling evidence thus far.
The docu should be intersting though i notice the ex copper fella whose behind it ponces for the McCans and indeed seems to be for hire on any crime case whatsoever judging by his website. I think we need a "burning torch" watch thread, theyve already ripped down a statue in Glasgow |
By:
They've also defaced a plaque in Leeds (?)
By:
rampant noncery - that could keep me from nodding off too

Super Soft target (dead) tv exposé .... Expecting to see pathetic ex groupie types bemoaning their lot. Who's next? How about the bay city rollers?? Must be able to dig some shy on them..

I grew up on Gary Glitter - next you'll be saying Gary was'nt all he seemed either
By:
Maybe they would like to replace the Savile statue at the Glasgow Leisure Centre with a more deserving candidate? Tam Paton maybe?
By:
yes, with the Rollers it was they who were victims of sexual abuse, the now-dead tam Paton (their manager)having raped and threatened to kill Les McKeown
By:
Hi Desperatemunter, I don't think I'll bother with the programme. Maybe I'll watch episode 3 of 'The Camomile Lawn' again on 4OD, with Jennifer Ehle putting on an, erm, acting tour-de-force.
By:

Their manager Tom Paton was one of the most notorious nonces in the music business. He was convicted of gross indecency with underage boys in 1982. |

you can almost smell his waxwork being hurriedly melted

What!!! Jennifer Ehrle in CL is my number 1 of ALL TIME. The 2 shots where she reveals a chest like snow-covered shield volcanoes makes me almost loose control
Phenomenal stuff not been on telly for a while |
By:
Enjoy, alun, enjoy
By:
Yes mate, I remember you tipping me off about her on a TV nostalgia thread. The entire series can be seen for free on 4OD, you just have to register which costs nothing and hasn't caused me any probs to date. Loads of other good series on there as well.
By:
cool alun - yes, it did come up once before, long time back. so you were on that thread too - nice.
By:
She showed a bit of restraint in Episode 1, but was soon shedding her magical robes in 2 and 3. Still got a few episodes left to see.

By:
only 3 hours to go.

I bet you're bursting with excitement

Maybe the Government will change the law so that corpses can also now be brought before the courts for trial? A successful precedent already with the changes to the 'Double Jeopardy' laws that enabled the prosecution of those who murdered S. Lawrence.

By:
derek accora could always supply jimmys voice at trial
By:
YES ONCE HE HAS HAD A FAIR TRIAL THEY SHOULD DIG A BIG HOLE AND BURY HIM
By:
pity he is dead because he went to his grave thinking he was untouchable and got away with it. they should also remove his knighthood, virtually unheard of for a dead person to be stripped of his knighthood, but they should consider it for him !

THE DEATH OF A POP LEGEND oh sorry he is already dead
what are we going to do about this there is historical precedent for digging someone up and punishing them I think but you had better find him guilty first or has chit chat changed the laws of this country |
By:
Chit Chat doesnt need evidence Moisk,he looked a wrong un,was eccentric therefore is GUILTY as charged.
As per Chit Chat law he shall be disintered by a howling pitchfork bearing mob of potless depressed friendless drunks, hung drawn and quartered, decapitated and his remains thrown into a pit and set on fire.He shall recieve no trial. On a more serious note i'd like to see his accusers take lie detector tests voluntarily and then perhaps we can get a TRUE idea if he really was a crazed noncing beast or just a powerful oddball. |
By:
I also note man city are playing against dortmund - they have a player called bender - clearly a wrong 'un - I would appreciate your advice - should I report him??
