Hollaback Girl by Gwen Steffani needs to be added - Utter sh1te on it's own merit (though was part of one of the greatest TV scenes ever in the Family Guy Shawshank p1ss take), but my next door neighbour of about seven years ago had the bloody song on repeat for about two months.
That song by the stupid bitch who sang about being a punk rocker with flowers in her hair. Punk Rockers have chemicals, dandruff and copious amounts of hairspray in their hair, not bleeding freesias and daisies. |

That horrific One Direction song - That's what makes you beautiful. Plus for super-duper bonus points the video. Stevie Wonder could see that the girl is beautiful.
Oh and anything by the Beatles. And Smells Like Teen Spirit really grates on me. |

Any Westlife or Ronan Keating - but esp 'Love is a rollercoaster'... detest the way he 'sings' & it's such a trite song
Any Spice Girls... Any Bland E*ection Anything from the Syco school of musical excrement in fact... ... abhorrent dirge. M People 'Movin On Up' and that one with her singing, 'What have you done today to make you feel good'... just horrific saccharine tune, & horrible vocal. Anything by Craig David, 'we were making love by Tues, & by Thurs I'd written another sh*t song'. Any Jamiroquai - awful white man's jazz... combined with that stupid hat & silly dance moves on conveyer belt in the video for 'Virtual Insanity'... makes me wish the guy would do us all a favour & drive his sports car off a cliff. Any Ocean Colour Scene... landfill indie at its worst. |

'Talkin 'Bout a Revolution' by Tracey Chapman.
Leaving aside the blatant Joan Armatrading rip-off, Alexei Sayle pinned her and this song completely, 'back in the day'. 'Poor people will rise up?' NO THEY BLOODY WON'T.'If we all hold hands we'll lokk like a bloddy fence!' Dumb whimsy dressed up as a triumph of the soul. |

What about song 2 Roger? A magnificent piece of work. WOOO-HOOO!!! Yep when this came out in 1997 it was a wtf moment of brilliance as their last albums main single was Country House, they then made much more experimental/rock stuff, just irks me how people slag them and only know a couple of their poppy chart singles... |

I've got to admit I find them ( and Gorrillaz ) a bit hit and miss. But DA does deliver some great stuff sometimes - Glitterfreeze for example
