8 months today without a drop.

That's the past 7 days. Don't have an accurate day by day total but about 16 units an evening. Few beers then a bottle of wine, maybe whisky. Staying up far later than normal drinking. My partner is in hospital. Has surgery 2 weeks ago and it seemed to go fine. Then I had to rush her back for a further 2 operations in the past week. Thought she might die but luckily is ok. Add to that my sister ringing me telling me dad is struggling to cope with his second wifes altzeimers and parkinsons and is on the phone crying to her a lot. And I have to make sure my partners kids are ok on top of that. Somehow I still work manager work on Betfair although having a crap month on with that too. Tough times. Alcohol helps. Nothing else to look forward to at the moment.
