This is the last chance for all the HATERS to have a-go. Good on ya! Seething at a successful Olypics

i've loved the olympics and been very proud of what a great job everyone has done in organising it.

but with the exception of the procession the athletes and the lighting of the olympic cauldron, the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony so far has been utter crap.

When you think of the unrivalled canon of musical and literary talent this country has produced, I feel a bit shortchanged by both ceremonies.  Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen?  Sorry, no mate, but here's Dizzee Rascal and a bunch of no-marks banging dustbins anyway.

Had to laugh at Nelson's earlier remark about the Opening Ceremony being a 'history lesson'.  This would be the modern version of Pretendy History that's taught in today's schools I guess.
